  1. Staccato XL. Keeping my IDPA and USPSA guns as close to identical as possible. XC for IDPA CO and the XL for USPSA LO. I know most folks like higher end guns, but I get them highly discounted and they have ran 100% for me.
  2. I bought 2 more 24 round MBX mags this morning. The other two have been 100% reliable. Depending on the stage, I will use STI mags to be dropped if possible.
  3. I'm leaning towards moving in that direction. I will finish up these last 900 or so and decide. What's more likely is when I have extra time I will process the brass before reloading. It certainly does help you keep an eye on just one side of the tool head.
  4. I thought that meant NATO, but apparently according to a google search in stands for Non-Toxic lead free primers.
  5. All the ones that give me the most resistance are marked WIN NT 9mm.
  6. I had some extra time on my hands this morning and because that WIN NATO brass has been giving me trouble, I decided to resize, decap and swage about 2k cases. I loaded 100 rounds after to see if there was a noticeable difference in the feel of the press. There was a definite difference, but I'm not sure it's worth the price of handling them all more than you already do.
  7. Love the Doodles. We have three Wheaten Terriers that everybody thinks are Doodles. 10, 7 and 1 year olds.
  8. My answer was a little too short. A drop in might have some benefits over OEM, but a fit barrel will give you the best accuracy improvement. I've tried all the Glock barrels and KKM gave me the best accuracy. I fit a semi-fit Barsto barrel to my GGI 3.9" gun, but the chamber was too tight. Barsto fixed it, but now its pretty sloppy. I haven't had time to shoot any groups with it, but it feeds everything.
  9. Not really. It just means the matches are going to be full and give you more people/talent to compare yourself to. I hate it when I forget to register and get waitlisted, but I almost always get it.
  10. Something is up with the extractor I'd suspect.
  11. 124 all day long out of the P320. GGI says so. Accuracy is as good as a 2011.
  12. Chad, a PT, used to be active here and had some good advice that worked for me. It's probably still on here somewhere....
  13. I've had this a couple times. The best way to get over it is to do light sets of forearm and reverse forearm curls with dumbbells. Like 3, 7 and 10 pounds for sets of 15.
  14. I was planning to do a quick 30 minute/500 round loading session this morning, but kept having issues with station 1 on the 1050. Turns out it was WInchester 9mm Nato brass. First it bent my decapping pen, then continued to "feel" like a stoppage on just about every one of those cases........
  15. Depends on your gun and what feel you like. I used 147s and N320 for years. It's soft and plenty accurate. Read about N330 on here and went to it under 124s this year. Dropped my group sizes in half, but isn't quite as soft.
  16. Great info guys, thank you and Happy Thanksgiving!!
  17. There is always a chance of failure when you go for mag capacity vs reliability. This is the whole reason for my post about MBX vs Atlas.......
  18. I will be receiving a dedicated LO pistol soon and was thinking about ordering a couple more 140mm mags. I have a bunch of 20 round STI mags and two 23 rounds MBX mags that I've had no issues with. I see that MBX offers a 24 round mag for 130 buck and Atlas has a 23 rounds for 100 bucks. Are the MBX mags still performing well? Mine are at least 6 years old and still work fine with one spring change.
  19. Cheely offers his aluminum frames I'm pretty sure........
  20. Agreed. Try as I might, I cannot shoot the 5X5 fast/clean enough to make MA. I think I'd be better off with the long one.
  21. Man, I wish one of our clubs would run the long classifier. I only got to shoot it once in 2018.
  22. I'm a member of two clubs, CTASA in Fort Worth and Collin County IDPA. CTASA outdoor matches may see 20ish shooters vs 45-60 at CCIDPA. CTASA indoor matches usually fill up pretty quickly, but they are capped at 28 shooters.
  23. I went up there on a murder investigation about 15 years ago. Stayed in Stroudsburg. It was a beautiful place, hard to believe how close to NYC it was...... Welcome to the forums!
