I threw a dot on my 617 for steel challenge. I'm in the same division as 22 bottom feeders with a dot. A big disadvantage.

Especially with the 2 day shoots for staff and three day shoots for competitors. Your butt would be dragging after five days. If you're working a back to back, hope you're under 40.

Great for the shooter. Just another burden for an overworked, undermanned staff.

On the second set of pics, it looks like case head separation.

My guess was out of battery. That slammed into the breech face. Double charge would have blown the mag out and maybe the top of the slide/barrel

It's not about what you can do physically. You start to loose it mentally. You start making stupid mistakes.

If it cycles the action, it will be good to go in SC.

Not hardly. The 40 load is 500+ ft lbs.

My primary EDC is a S&W M&P C in 40. A 155 Gold Dot with 9 grains of Longshot will spoil your day.

Prior to that it was ran under the 'Single Stack Society' and Richard Heinie.

Not to get sidetracked here but I noticed that with the new L-10 options, they were going to allow revo's with optics.

It took me 5 months and a few emails to get mine. Got it just before Thanksgiving. Edit to add: Didn't get a manual with it.

I wouldn't want somebody dinking my steel with a 5.7 anyway.

I use a PCC in 2X4 if the match has that available.

That's 4 too many.

If it's a table start, the safety HAS to be engaged. If you put it on a table without the safety engaged, the moment you take your hand off, it's a DQ. If you're starting holding the PCC and the safety is disengaged at the start, it's a improper starting position and a mandatory reshoot, not a DQ.

I do believe that you are mistaken. In PCC, not engaging the safety is a reshoot/restart for failure to assume proper starting position. Only time the safety is engaged if it is a table start. Failure to engage safety is a DQ if gun is loaded at start.

I had to do the same.

Downside is can't use a magnetized mag holder.

I worked the '21' nationals so I might have a hole card.

I don't care for [22-05] – Win Some Lose Some. If I wanted to shoot 23 yards strong handed only, I would shoot bullseye with the old farts.
