  1. I was loading up some .223 rounds today, 52Jhp with 24.8gr of IMR3031 is what the book called for but I couldn't "fit" the 24.8gr in to the cartridge. I had to load it down to 23gr and it was all most to the top of the casing. Is there some smaller sized powder that will fit better in the small .223 casing? What is some of the better powders for the .223rem round I shoot a 20" barrel on a bushmaster. I shoot long range 100 yards to start on average I shoot 200 to 300 yards. I'm looking for a good long range round. Thank you
  2. I loaded IMR 3031 rifle powder at 5.8gr I planned to use Unique at 5.8gr . I do have the rifle and pistol primers and powder away from each other, I just got excited receiving the final parts needed form Dillon i just grabbed the wrong powder. I have now marked the powders with tape and marker Rifle and Pistol. Again thank you all
  3. Thank you all looks like I'm gonna be busy the next few days. Will i be able to save the powder i the bullets I'm gonna pull?
  4. Ok to start off I would like to say I'm a reloading noob. I bought a Dillon 550b, and I love it. I got it all setup for .45acp ( I also bought supply for .223) I realized at 183 of 200 rounds i loaded the WRONG powder. My question what or how should I remove the bullets and powder to re reload. I thank you for any help. If i posted this in the wrong thread I'm sorry.
