Comp-tac is making them now. They are the best I have seen. Plus Comp-tac is a huge supporter of IDPA.

I had the same problem. I made a shelf on safety with JB Weld and textured with silicone carbide, works great.

I watched a new tv show on National Geographic channel the other night called "brain games". This episode was about vision and timing. While watching, i kept thinking how this would apply to our shooting games. A very good show about how your mind works. Did anyone else watch this?

I have the Mitchell on my two competetion 1911's, and love it. I had to file the bottom of the button a little after my mag hit the ground on accident, twice on the same stage. It did make my reload faster without having to re-establish my grip. Mitchell right hand release is a little expensive, but a very well made piece.

Hey Don, how does that range handle water? It looks like it will be raining several days leading up to the match. I sure hope it doesn't get cancelled.

I am torn between single or double action on longer shots. I have tried both and going single past 20 yards. It seems to me to be a disadvantage to bob the hammer on a competition revolver and lose the single action option.
