Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. This was not something that was caught during setup or walk through obviously. It only became evident well into the match, and to Oddjob's credit, he questioned it bafore shooting it the way he did. There were differing opinions, which is why the question made it to this forum. Those of us who setup the stages do the best we can to hide and conceal targets, but often we are few in number and find ourselves finishing up about the time the walkthrough is beginning. We just don't see it all. I appriciate those who find the weaknesses in the stages and make it a teachable moment for future reference.
  2. This came up at a local match recently and there were differing opinions on it's legality. Using a wall with a port that uses nylon mesh to cover the wall, would it be legal to stick the gun through the port and use the holes in the nylon mesh to peer through for sight alignment. In this particular instance, it did allow for an advantange as the shooter would be able to see around a stack of barrels that was intentionally place to block the view of the target from the port itself. Thoughts?
  3. This may have come across the forum beforr, but a quick search did not turn it up. As I was reloading on my Square deal this morning and having to pull the locator pin every time I came across a loose fitting primer, I determined there had to be a better way to get the buttons out than needle nose pliers or tweezers. I opened up my tool box and came across an alligator clip. That was the best discovery I've made all morning, as not only does it grip it well to take it out, you just set it on the bench with the button in it's grip and go about removing the case. When you are ready to replace it, no fumbling to try and get it back in with fingers or other tools as I had in the past. Definitely speeds up the process..
