  1. Not having the stages descriptions is a bad idea.. I know they are not accurate, but they at least you know which guns, ammo, or mags to bring to the stage. Without them everyone has to carry everything from the car to the stage or go look at the stage, then go back to the car. Sometime parking is a couple hundred yards from the stages.

I had the sti for para mag catch installed and have been running sti 9mm mags flawlessly! If you want some Para 9mm/38S mags I could include 3 and either 3 or 4 Para 40 mags. I will get some pics asaic, it isn't pretty, but functions like I said, flawlessly. I refer to it as my frankenpara....Think I have a blade tech holster I will include as well if you want it.

I found all my Para mags and parts. Think there are 4, I know I have a stainless, .40 mags with I believe 4 dawson pads and probably close to 10 9mm/38S mags. That being said, all the extra mags kind of means more money, I would include 3 .40 and 3 9mm/38S mags with the gun.Plus all the Dawson pads and the holster I mentioned earlier for $1500.You are close enough we could just meet up somewhere.

  7. Rockcastle webpage shows Pro Am August 20-23, 2015
  8. My Versa Max 28 inch shot about 8.5 inches to the right at 50 yards. Sent it back to Remington and now it is dead on at 60 yards. The report states that they changed barrel, forearm, and trigger group. What the report did not say anything about was they removed and re-installed the mag tube, because the holes where the indents were are now rotated about 75 degrees. My belief is the mag tubes are not lined up correctly as some many others have stated above. Remington charged me ZERO dollars and paid shipping both ways.
  9. My Thanks to the whole staff for the match. Thanks to all the sponsors too. One and a half hours into the Am prize table, I still got a one hundred dollar Extreme Bullet certificate plus other small items. Am squad 13: One of the BEST squads that I have ever been on. Thank you guys and gals.
  10. Are the Match Books on the website yet? The Am match book will not load and the Pro match book is for 2013. When will the 2014 match books be ready?
  11. I was hoping that you or your dad would reply here. The old spring was the older style dark spring and has ran very good in the 1100 for me. The tube on the Versa Max must be a little longer. The new spring is the stainless looking spring. 17 inches past the tube just seemed to be much more than I thought, but I wanted to start long. I have seen many times here that 14 for a +6 tube is about normal. I am going to drop back to around 15 inches to give more of a buffer for loading the last round. Thanks
  12. I installed the Nordic MXT +7 tube from my 1100 on a new Versa Max using a new Versa Max nut and the old spring and that was cut at 14 inches in the 1100. The last round was not feeding on the Versa Max and only measured 13 inches in the Versa Max. Installed a new Nordic spring, I thought I would start long and cut until I could load 11 in the mag. So cut it 17 inches and installed, found 11 would go in to the mag with around 3/8 inch to spare. Is this too much spring for a Versa Max with a +7 tube? Seems to be working great as is.

  14. Does the Taran Tactical lifter work in the Versa Max? or do they make two different lifters? I am asking because if I remove my lifter and pay shipping both ways to C-Rums, the cost is getting close to the Taran Tactical lifter any way.
  15. I would not stop the shooter until the mag that was handed to him was inserted into the gun. At that point he has given up the option of retrieving a dropped mag and has excepted outside assistance that would give him a big advantage. If aloud to continue then targets would have to be scored as shoot with only procedurals as the only option. 2 procedurals per target is a advantage over 2 mikes and a FTE per target. As RO's we are not to give advantage to or take advantage away from any shooters, but keep the COF as equal as possible for each and every shooter in the match.
  16. I emailed Linda this morning that I will shoot the Am match and dropping the Pro slot. I will have both knees replaced over the next 6 weeks, sure hope I will be recovered by August!!!!!
  17. Two years in a row, have to decide between am and pro. If I could only shoot that fast.
  18. Nordic told me that Stoeger used both Nova and Super Nova tubes on the 3500 at random, Stoeger suggest 3 and 3 1/2 inch shells for a 3500 or it may not cycle.
  19. The biggest problem with the 1100 is if you can make it run good is that you can out cycle it very easily. To get mine to work I had to cut the Dave's metalworks loader about half the normal length. After opening up the loading port, and rounding the lift gate a little, just like you would a Versa Max, I can load 10 rounds into it in 6 to 7 seconds using the load two method. Mine will work if I wait for it to cycle, meaning feel the bolt fully close and the rounds to fall against the stop in the mag tube before pulling the trigger again. My 1100 is a 28 inch with a plus 7 tube making it a 11 and one gun. I am waiting for the funds to move up to a Versa Max in the near future too. Forgot the most important thing, I know that I will never be one of the top shooters, but damn I have fun shooting 3 Gun.
  20. I try to watch the gun going back into the holster before giving the "Range Is Clear" or giving the time to the scorekeeper.
  21. I use Deluth Trading Truckers. They only hook in two points. I clamp on pants at beltloops to prevent having a wave in the inner belt. http://www.duluthtrading.com/store/mens/mens-accessories/mens-suspenders/92992.aspx
  22. a mixature of 50% Hydrogen peroxide and 50% white vinger. Soak for 1 mintute, clean and repeat. It will discolor bluing but works great on stainless.
  23. USPSA MG Rules 8.4.26 Frangible targets must break with a visible piece missing or separated from the original target to be counted for score. A fixed frangible target that falls from a hit on its holder will be considered a hit.
