  1. Mike's triggers are 1-1.5 lbs heavier than Randy's. Mike also puts a heavier rebound spring in his guns so the trigger returns faster. Both are extremely smooth. Randy's will cost 2 or 3 hundred more and you'll have to wait awhile to get it back. With Mike you'll only have to wait a week or two.
  2. Try a few Zero .356 125 JHP's. My guns shoot those better than the 124 MG's.
  3. He's not tuning mags anymore... at least for now. If that's what you were wondering. I'm not sure what his email is.
  4. Shoot the steel until it falls, unless it is taking a ridiculous amount of time. The match calls for 210 rounds, that means if you don't miss any steel or make up any shots on the paper it will take 210 rounds. Bring at least 300...
  5. I've tried MG 124's and Zero 125's, both JHP's. In my G34 and XD9 the .356 Zero 125 JHPs are more accurate.
  6. Nickel Speer .38 special brass does the same.
  7. So, is next years Area 5 match still going to be in Milan? That would really limit the capability to make creative field courses...
  8. A heavier bullet will have the same recoil but the slide won't cycle as fast.
  9. Tell Carmoney what you want, he'll give you a good deal and has fast turn around time. Carmonize! - check out his dealer thread.
  10. The hammer block is not lined up properly with the side plate. Look at where it is supposed to lay on the inside of the side plate, you'll see... Tap it in with a rubber mallet once you think you have it lined up. It might take a few tries... Good luck.
  11. Frank is a busy man with all of the matches he helps out with. I'm sure he'll get around to it when he gets some time.
  12. Heck, they make steel USPSA targets too. IPSC/USPSA targets
  13. Our club does it as well. I use a five post. I wouldn't shy away from getting 5 single post holders. That way you have full customization of the spacing.
  14. B class. 6 MOA. I adjust mine like you do, depending on the targets. For harder-farther-smaller stuff I like to turn it down so that my dot is a clear circle. On the close-easy stuff I turn the dot up all the way so I can pick it up fast.
  15. I am surprised nobody asked about the beavertail added to the backstrap! Can you tell us about it? Make it yourself?Like it? I was wondering the same after I saw the pic. I couldn't quite tell from the one that I looked at if the beavertail was part of the gun or part of the holster. I don't think I would like that low of a grip.
  16. Only 10 rounds per mag is legal in Production.
  17. I am a junior shooter that is going to the camp. I can't wait to get there. So what do we do? Just pick up the ammo at the camp? Also, can anyone tell me the exact adress of the camp. Last year they had us pick it up in a shed at the range. I'm guessing it will be the same this year. All the 40 ammo is with a 180grn bullet and the 9mm (I think) is with a 115grn bullet. Make sure you are sighted in... Have fun! any way to find out which types they will supply, just because then we could go out and buy some to just sight in and get the feel etc.... I'm pretty sure we had Remington UMC last year. Any factory ammo with the same weight bullet will be close though. If you can't find UMC. I have 2 questions. 1. Is the 9mm UMC metal cased? 2. What would be the best way to sight in my M&P with Remington ammo? Jason Brass cased. Sight in at 17 yards, know where you're hitting at 25.

  19. Same with me, between football and school anything in the fall is hard for me to make. It was luck that I got to come last year...
