  1. Mike, I had the same problem on one of my dads guns, changed the spring, still no luck. Might work though... Cliff, get a tiny drill bit or somthing and stick into the firing pin channel to see if there are any burrs. Craig
  2. Agreed. The new C&S pins work good.
  3. I'm right handed and left eyed too. I use my right eye for shotgun and rifle, its a lot more comfortable for me.
  4. Sweet, I watch UFC on TV all of the time. There are a couple of fighters that are sponsored by DPMS.
  5. On Thursday it was 71 degrees. Now it is 32, snowing, and windy.
  6. Ya, the prices are always high next to the airports since people have to fill up their rental cars before returning them. I guess most people just think, "awe hell its only a couple of gallons" and just bite the bullet.

  8. At least the hammer isn't cocked. He should have it pointing away from him, and should definitly have the mag out.
  9. No difference in the load. The only difference between Feds. and Wins. is that Federals are more sensitive, which is a plus if you are going to use them for revo...
  10. I have been using Wolf primers for a couple of years with no problems. Just starting this year I'm having about 1 per hundred Wolf small rifle primers misfire, I have used thousands before with no problems. Winchesters are still working fine in the same gun. I have read on here that they don't seat as well as others...
  11. Ya, usually the ones that don't fit in the case gage will work fine. The only reason that I check my match ammo is like you said, it is a good way to catch split cases, upside down primers, etc.
  12. I always thought it would be cool to get the slide nickel plated or hard chromed then get some gold engraving type stuff done like some fancy old revos have... Just a thought.
  13. Irjet, how do you like the aimpoint micro? I like it, I also have and use c-more's but I do not trust it to hold zero as well as the Aimpoint. It's lens is a bit smaller and the body doesn't seem to bother me but the c-more is more open. The dot is brighter on the Aimpoint and quality is better but it cost more. I can shoot it as fast as the c-more. I like the adjustment clicks on the Aimpoint. I felt my C-more would wander a bit with time and temperature change----did you experience that, but at 15yds no big deal depends on your application. I have never had a c'more wander. I'm thinking about trying the aimpoint micro on my 10/22... Thanks Craig
  14. My local club is usually the other way around...
  15. Irjet, how do you like the aimpoint micro?
  16. Makes more sense to me to buy four singles. It would be easier to wrap them around your waist and place them where ever you want. Unless its more expensive to do it that way...
  17. I have shot just one match useing a loaner gun... don't ask why... It was one of the best matches I ever shot. Must have been because of the Carmonized trigger...
  18. For the fiber optic rod get the Caspian it is the brightest of all. I prefer red. When you install it you will need a lighter and some super glue. Lightly glue the front of the fiber optic rod and slide it in flush with the front of the sight. Cut off the rod at the rear of the sight leaving some exposed. The more that you leave exposed the bigger dot you will have. Once you have cut it off melt it so it forms/contracts to the front sight. Craig
  19. By now its got to be at least 3/4 of the way full. You wouldn't be takeing a slot away from anybody. The people that are going to shoot all three days will have priority over the people shooting one or two days. Hope the clears things up, Craig
  20. Blade Tec holster and Safariland mag pouches are good, fast and secure. I would have at least 5 8rd. mags on belt plus one in the gun to start. Just use the seven rounder as a barnie.
  21. I agree with Howard about the dounuts being the hardest stage. One year the sun was shining just right and we could see the bullets traveling through the holes... Pretty cool. Oh ya, I watched Manny Brag shoot the dounuts last year, he was upset that his worst run with his limited gun was a 3.11 .
  22. Sweet, this is the main match that I look forward to all year. 360 rounds if you don't miss... Doug you are a funny guy. Thanks for helping put this on Doug. Craig
