  1. Yeah, for a really long time. Thanks, when I get some time I will try and bling out my some of my own mags.
  2. I've got a strong little magnet embedded in a dowel rod I keep on by brass prep table for just that. FWIW, I ran several through, loaded and shot 'em before I found out what was up. What finally tipped me was priming...pockets are tight on all S&B but on these, most are next to impossible to seat completely. +1 on the tight pockets. I had a primer blow up on one when I was reloading, it was loud... I would probably throw them out.
  3. Wow, those are sweet. Do you just buff them to get the mirror finish? Thanks, Craig
  4. Sweet. Hopefully the prize table is as good as last year. The top three in each division got guns if I remember right... See ya all there, Craig
  5. Sweet. I got to talk to my dad about getting one of these for are rec room. Does anyone know who sells them?
  6. Little bit of everything. Forming feed lips, adjusting tube dimensions, altering the follower, tuning the spring...
  7. My friend tried to catch one a couple of years ago in a big plastic cup, it got ripped out of his hands and nailed the kid sitting behind him. I have to say that is was one of the most hilarious things I've ever seen. Nice job on the catch.
  8. Got any William Henerys? Those are beautys. I'm saving up for one.
  9. Ya, thats what I use too. BTW the threads are reversed so...
  10. Manny classes are the shiz. At our range he shot a plate rack in about three seconds on a full sprint with his limited gun, IMPRESSIVE. Your hands will be sore when your done. Good luck and have fun, he is a wealth of info... Craig
  11. I voted for three and seven, it only counted my vote for number three though... Can't wait until June... Craig
  12. Sit, I do like Brian said in an earlier post. Use a bar stool with the handle at about shoulder height when it's in up position. I load in marathons, usually 2 or 3 thousand per sitting, and I could imagine my back hurting pretty bad standing the whole time... I don't see any need to be able to look into the cases when your loading. If you are using the machine properly there will be powder going into the cases... Craig
  13. Benny 6" Fat Frees are awesome. I have never had a jam that was the guns fault. Make sure to load your ammo short and with a ton of crimp. I'm with rocket about not turning down a good deal on a 5" gun though.
  14. Ya, I actually prefer the non-click switch ones better. I've only tried one click one but it was pretty hard to turn on and off. All of the normal ones seem easy to adjust the brightness level and turn on.
  15. Nice. Our pond just came unfrozen a couple weeks ago so the water is still freezing cold. The fish are not active at all. During summer vacation I'm out fishing about 6 days a week, its a blast. Can't wait to get out and throw the Texas rig a bit...
  16. Cleats would be best for the woods, especially when its wet.
  17. Would it be safe to use them in 38 super, 9mm, and 40 steel loads. Pros and cons please. Thanks, Craig T.
  18. Make sure to bring plenty of bug spray and a pair of good shoes for the woods stage. It can get a little slippery when there is dew on it in the morning. And a little mosquitoy...
  19. I think so. There were only a couple slots left a few weeks ago. I could be wrong. Mike will confirm. Craig
  20. +1 for Brazos My dad has a full custom one and it works like a charm. He has shot at least 25K through it with no gun related jams, just upside down primers and stuff... With match ammo it shoots about 1.5 inch groups at 50 yards. Bob will set it up however you like. My dad had his hand and trigger pull length measured... It came out great. I have a STI trubor tuned and fitted by Bob. It is almost as good as my dads accuracy wise, and has very few jams, maybe 2 or 3 in 20K rounds. Craig
  21. No, the Randy Lee ones are better quality but I, like mike, can get a lighter trigger pull with the old stock or C&S pins. The new C&S pins are reliable, no breaking, yet. Craig
  22. PINMAN, the titanium firing pins can be bought at brownells. They are the older style and are mixed in with the newer ones. You'll have to get some calipers, measure them, then send back the newer short ones and keep the long ones. Craig
