Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Hi fellow shooters The 2013 Virginia State IDPA Match is coming along very well! Information can be found at http://www.animalmedclinic.com/site/view/212671_KRGC.pml. This year we are planning 14-16 stages and an excellent side match with Benelli (grand prize custom shotgun!) Round count is 150-200 so bring extra ammo. We have one of the best staff teams and as a shooter it is your responsibility to shoot, reload your mags, and have fun- our team pastes the targets and resets the steel. Plus we will have complimentary cold water and drinks on most stages. Bring your own lunch or visit onsite vendors, you will not need to leave. Trophies for winners and an excellent random draw prize table with at least four pistols on the table! Applications available online at http://www.animalmedclinic.com/site/view/212691_Championship2012.pml Current shooters at http://clubs.beachbunnysoftware.com/kettlefoot/2013-06-22Astatus.htm Come join us here in Southwest Virginia and enjoy the area and great match. 2. Hi all, We are hosting the 2nd Virginia State IDPA Match at Kettlefoot Rod & Gun Club on June 25, 2011. The sign up webpage is Kettlefoot IDPA We will have a nice random prize table with at least 4 pistols on it, and numerous other donations. Brian Enos has donated books and tubes of slide glide for the prize table. Included in the registration is lunch and soft drinks/water during the day. 10+ stages and an excellent range here in Southwest Virginia/Northeast Tennessee. No pasting by shooters, you just shoot and relax. Safety officers will paste and reset targets while you focus on shooting. Each squad will have an assigned safety officer to organize the squads and gather score sheets. We have made several safety improvements based on input from the 2010 state match, and we have added two new bays. We have added extra berms, raised the heights on select berms, and rebuilt some bays completely. Come join us in June! 3. Hi, I have a customer who is an avid S&W revolver collector, and several times he has bought 2 at a time. That triggers the multiple pistol purchase reporting requirement and I complete the form, fax ATF a copy, and send another to local LEO. What happens if that same customer comes in three days later and gets another revolver? Do I fill out another 3310-4 with the first two and the third, or just the third as the first two have already been reported? Or do I just wait to see if he gets another within the "Five consecutive business days" period and then fill out the 3310-4? And the "Five consecutive business days", does it start when the first revolver is sold or when the second or third is sold? I mean, if he bought one every four days for a month where would the reporting period end, five days after the final pistol? And they say the want the form "no later than close of business on the day that the multiple sale or other disposition occurs" How do you juggle same day with five days? And "Five consecutive business days"- does that mean my business days or government business days? Say I am only open four days a week, does that mean each week stands by itself? Or does that mean five of my business days, and since they are not consecutive how does that effect it? Mark
  4. Looks like the prize table is coming together pretty good. We are planning on having about six pistols on the prize table, we already have various gift certificates, books, and gear. We will hold the prize table drawing while we wait on the final score compilations. For your match fee you get the match, lunch, t-shirt, and prize table ticket. Come join us in June for our first Virginia State IDPA Match. This will be our sixth tri-state annual championship match, but our first sanctioned state match. Mark
