.. Great Customer Service but you pay for it in what they now charge for a SEMI CUSTOM 1911. The early Nighthawks when Ron Phillips worked there and they did not have as many models ... Decent Semi Custom. There permakote finish is not very good ... poorly fitted beavertail and safety for what they charge. run of the mill production custom with a lack of consistency. Most of the models have Storm Lake Barrels ( For the money they charge) I want a Kart or Bar Sto Barrel. I had 3 gunsmiths look over my Nighthawks and they could not see the high price tag. I sold mine and replaced them with other 1911's... I think they are a great bunch and very nice guys ..but there pistols are over priced production custom 1911's.....

Hello to all would like some info thinking of getting a TM I want it for slow fire shooting at 25 & 50 yards, I read ..some good and bad about STI guns but here great things about Brazos. Is there a better model for hitting tight groups close to the center. I don't want a complete race gun but will spend up to $2100 Thanks for any info.

I am looking for a range gun that is a Tac Driver at 25 & 50 yards I see good and bad about STI but see some dealers offer tune ups on new guns you buy from them to make sure the gun is in good working order. I shoot very well at long range and do 95% of my shooting from 25yards and beyond, is the Target Master a good gun for long range slow fire shooting. Thanks for any info.
