  1. Hey guys, the stages are all up (and I fixed the one stage that was a duplicate so check out stage 3 again since I screwed up the picture the first time). There is no need for anything besides birdshot and slugs. The spinners are setup to spin easy at 9 yards and we made a rule that no hot ammo is allowed on that stage anyway. The farthest shot will be 280ish, but don’t worry it will be challenging enough. All the long distance ranges are undergoing maintenance, so we couldn't get on our normal ranges. The match booklet is on the mobile and desktop site if you want to download it and check it out (and keep it handy during the match) http://fortbenning3gun.com/assets/match-booklet-reduced-size.pdf See everyone in a couple of days! Daniel
  2. Hey guys, sorry for not uploading the last couple of days. I'll catch up this evening. The stages are looking good. We have 2 more to finish and we will be done. The large shotgun stage has ~34 Just a couple of quick notes: Everyone will need a sling for your rifle Please bring a secure holster for your pistol There are 2 MGM spinners that will be shot with your shotgun at 9 yards There are 3 targets that require you to shoot your rifle weak handed I think all emails are caught up, but if there are any issues please let me know. See you soon! Daniel
  3. Thanks for everybody helping out! If anybody is having issues with squading please let me know and I'll get it taken care of. I was not successful getting MWR to get a match hotel today. I will try again tomorrow. I personally like the Holiday Inn up on Exit 10 http://www.ihg.com/holidayinnexpress/hotels/us/en/columbus/csgnl/hoteldetail/directions The next stage is up! Here is stage 2 http://fortbenningmultigun.com/#stages I'll have a picture of the actual stage up tomorrow the one I took with my phone didn't look good so I'll take a better one tomorrow and upload it. Thanks everybody, Daniel
  4. There are currently no slot's available, but we might have a couple open up. I'll post here as soon as it opens. Thanks, Daniel
  5. Hey Chuck, The MWR is running anything not related to the stages or match officiating, so I will get a hold of them in the morning and see if they will get us a discount code somewhere ASAP (I totally let that slip my mind I should have told them we needed a hotel). Here are some good hotels if that doesn't work out http://fortbenningmultigun.com/#why . See you soon brother, Daniel
  6. Hey Bruce C., Nick S, and potentially Jim, I will make sure your refunds get squared away asap. Nick S I'm not seeing your email (not saying it's not here just saying I can't find it) please resend and I'll make sure you and Bruce are taken care of. For everyone else, I'm sending out a email letting you know as well, but here is the first stage!! http://fortbenningmultigun.com/#stages We have a couple of more done and will be releasing them one day at a time, so check back tomorrow for the next one. We are really lookinging forward to the match and can't wait to see everybody! Thanks for the patience, Daniel
  7. Hey Guys! I'm really sorry for the lack of communication for the match up until this point. There were some issues as far as what could be put out and when, but we are good to go now. So after the apologies... The required round count is tentative at: 150 pistol 150 rifle 120 Shotgun 10 Slugs The paperwork is being turned in so that there will be no issues with you getting on post with your competition guns and ammo. There will be some pictures of the stages coming tomorrow, and they are looking good. This is going to be a first class event. Again sorry for the limited communication up until this point, but we should be good to go now. Thanks for your patience and understanding, Daniel
  8. Hey guys, Sorry I haven't been keeping up with the forum like I should. Please send any issues to ActionShooting2004@gmail.com if there's anybody else wanting to register please send me an email at Daniel@Danielhorner.com and I'll see if I can get you in. There's a little bit longer process now due to some government things, but if you want to shoot I'll walk you through and it will be painless. Just a tease of what's to come: This is one of the much more layed back stages, but we don't want to give away to much to quick! Excuse the quality.
  9. Correct. Tonight is JR's and guardians. This includes if you are bringing a JR to watch. We just want JR's to experience the Army in a positive light. We are making coordination’s to have a tank and helicopter on display as well as all sorts of Army related equipment.
  10. Hey guys, sorry to start a new thread on the same thing, but I didn't want people to miss the announcement and all the sign up info since it wouldn't be in the first post. The official announcement is on the thread above this one. Hopefully a lot of the questions are answered in that post, if not just let me know on the other thread and I'll get you any info I can. Thanks for understanding, Daniel
  11. It's official, the Fort Benning Multi-Gun is back!! We are back and better than ever. This year will feature 10 stages. 3 one gun, 4 two gun and 3 three Gun stages. We will have all the great Army props for everyone to play with (nothing on the clock this year), to include: Sniper Rifle Alice Pack Parachute Harness AK-47 Shoot House (going to be awesome!) Skedco (might not seem as awesome, but definatly memerable) CBRN Mask (don't ask... you don't want to know) Rapel gear and much much more... The match will have top quality stages that are fair, consistent and fun. We will be using 3 GN rules, however we will be using IPSC targets. Scoring will be through Practiscore and sign-up/registration will be ran online. Registration. This year we are trying to encourage junior shooters to come see what the Army has to offer, so if you will bring a junior shooter to the match you will have a 24 hour jump on the rest of the competitors. This is the way it will work: Friday September 18th at 2100 EST registration will open. If you have a junior shooter (under 18 as of 4 December 2015) you will both sign up with the other as the first person in the squad request box. Saturday September 19th at 2100 EST registration will open for everyone else (if the match hasn't filled obviously) This is going to be a great match with stages setup and designed by the USAMU's Action Shooting Team, Tyler Payne, Joel Turner, Matt Sweeney, Kattie Harris, John Browning, Michel Buss, and myself Daniel Horner. The entry fee will be $225. If you have any questions please do not PM me (I will not get it... I promise) send an email to: ActionShooting2004@gmail.com The website is http://fortbenningmultigun.com/ We really hope you can make it, and if you can we will do everything we can to make it a great time for you!! Talk to you soon, Daniel
  12. The coins are not ready yet. We will let you know ASAP. Thanks, Daniel
  13. Hey guys final results are posted on the site. I think we are all going to go relax and thaw out now. Thanks to all competitors, staff, supporters, and USAMU personnel. Thanks again, Daniel
  14. Hey everybody the shoot-off will start in about twenty min live on this page. LINK
  15. Hey everybody, the cameras should all be up!! I'll try to post the squad list and schedule and you can find your friends.
  16. Hey everybody, check out the live video feeds of select stages. This is brought to you byHorus Vision. Thanks, Daniel
  17. You guys are correct. Whatever caliber you shoot in TO you will be scored on the best 2 hits. Rifle distances, you should be prepared to take shots out to 400+ yards. Daniel
  18. mpeltier- you nailed it. The rule was created to prevent anyone from having a capacity advantage by being able to hold more rounds than their direct competition, not to give someone a disadvantage by shooting shotgun X over shotgun Y. The rule stands as stated. The way it will be interpreted at the match is: If you start with 10 rounds in the gun on a loaded start, or start with 9 rounds on a chamber empty start, you will be moved to open. Hope this clarify things, Daniel
  19. Hey guys I just fixed the link. If you run across anything else shoot me an email to daniel@danielhorner.com Thanks!
  20. Haha no the 26 slugs are all very reasonable... ish... You don't need a long zero for any of them. This week is our junior clinic, so the stages should be up shortly after that is complete.
  21. 6.4.4 Tactical Class scoped rifles may be equipped with no more than one (1) optical sight. Tactical Class Scoped: Use whatever optic you want (as long as there's only one). It can be a scope, dot, dot with magnifier... pick your poison. 6.4.5 Tactical Iron Class rifles may be equipped with one 1x power optic (Iron sights are also allowed). Don't read anything into it. You can use a 1x optic and/or Irons. If you shoot a dot in Tac-Irons you do not have to mount a set of irons on your rifle at all. Most important Round count: 131 Rifle 123 Pistol 106 Shot 26 Slug (subject to change without notice) Stages are being finalized and should be posted soon. Good luck everybody!!! Daniel Horner
  22. Hi everyone, The website is currently down. It should be up in about three days. The internet is to slow to update properly, so it is full of broken links and mixed up images. As soon as I get somewhere I can fix it I will. It will have rules, directions, maps, waivers, and weapons declaration forms as well as some updated information, so hold off on emailing Linda for those things. Thanks, Daniel
  23. Thanks everybody!! For all of you who have ordered a coin, we will be reimbursing you for the shipping charges at the match. Hope everybody is doing well, and we all look forward to seeing you soon.
  24. Yes your good! If your in this year, and it will be your third year your good to go on the coin. Look forward to seeing you! Daniel
