Yes I use it when training with airsoft.on low the beep is very soft. the microphonr picks up shoots on a medium setting. the only thing I am disappointed with is I have to connect my start / stop plate to my 8000 EVERYTHING else is great. Bob I read on one of the airsoft sites that they use a standard CED 8000 for their matches. Will it also pick up the airsoft shots or will it only work with stop plates?
