Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Mine is a 24" barrel and with IC choke it is accurate with B&P slugs - Shoots point of aim.
  2. Should have mentioned, I am in New Zealand. There are a couple of options here, and this caught my eye as it is available and looks to be OK. So I am looking for someone who has had some experience with these. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  3. Thanks. Unfortunately I don't live in the US, so I am a little limited in my options. These rifles are available and also at quite an attractive price point. Therefore I am interested if it is worth it, or whether to just pass on by.
  4. HI, I am looking at getting a rifle for 3 Gun and Multi Gun. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with the CMMG Mk4 RCE? http://www.cmmginc.com/category_s/1906.htm Any opinion on accuracy, suitability for 3 Gun etc? Thanks!
  5. Thanks! It gives me a starting point. Cheers
  6. Hi, A friend has 8lb of WSL (unopened) that he has had for ages. I had a bit of a search, and could not find a lot of information on using WSL for making Major with 180s. However I did find some information on it by Jeff Maass. I was wondering if you could help shed some light on this powder. 1 - Is it a suitable powder to use for making Major (Loaded long 1.185) 2 - Is it temperature sensitive/reverse sensitive? 3 - What does the recoil feel like? 4 - Is is a clean/dirty powder? Any other information about it would be greatly appreciated. Cheers,
  7. Really nice optic! If I decide to go to Open, I would love one of these!
  8. I have been using them for quite a few years. Never had any issues and would recommend them. I would not use anything below a 17lb main spring. I tried using a 15lb main spring and had problems setting them off. However never had any issues with a 17lb or higher.
  9. I am using Clays too. 4.45 gr at 1.195 OAL with 180 Gr projectiles.(Coated Lead). 173 PF. Soft shooting and accurate.
  10. Yes - Pinned grip safety is fine in IPSC, as long as the thumb safety is fully functional.
  11. I load on a SDB and the handle has never caused me any issues. Have been using it for the last 5+ years and thousands of rounds later :-)
  12. I use a Dillon case gauge. So far I have had no issues, lengths up to 1.195 was fine.
  13. This was great fun! managed to take up most of an hour :-)
  14. I use an 17lbs Main spring and 12.5lbs recoil spring. I have changed from an 11lbs recoil spring to 12.5lbs as the sights track better. Don't have any issues with setting off primers, however I do use an extended FP. PF of 175.
