I went on the generic dinner and movie date last friday. saw Wanted with Angelina Jolie. I thought the story was good. the action was intense.. Angelina... HOT. But why must hollywood use so much CGI and do all this over the top "impossible feats" to ruin it. There are some neat 1911's and some other strange guns but these guys need to understand to stop Shooting and reload when the slide locks back! also Can anyone teach me how to spin my wrist so the bullets curve around stuff to hit its target? That is not good. I'm pretty sure that NV has a wage law that sets the time period that an employee has to receive their last paycheck. If you want to PM me or call me in my office, I can do some more digging to see exactly what the law is in NV. thanks Dave. I called my Lawyer. I'm expecting about 10x what I should of been paid when we go to court. My ex boss thinks he's winning... wait til they find out about my 70 hour work weeks w no O.T! it will be a while before I'm awarded anything and it looks like he'll be out of business before we even make it to court... we'll see. I'm not holding my breath. If it's a corporation he can just file bankruptcy and you will win every dollar there is in an empty purse... as I said before, I'm NOT Holding my breath. Bountyhunter I was lucky and sold my house at just the right time. thanks for the well wishes. I have an interview with the old co. I worked for a couple years ago. As a lefty you can't Dq'ed for your finger in the trigger guard during a reload if the button is on the left. just shave the stipple where your trigger finger rubs against the grip to keep the skin on your finger.. I had an HK w ambis and I used the left. With an SI gun you can easily hit the mag release w your left finger and is the fastest way to me. now if they just made a lefty slide!

sorry to hear some your woes. I have been layed off for a month. I have been looking for work that will actually pay my rent and leave me w enough to pay the bills, eat and put gas in the truck. If I managed a Mcdonalds I might make enough if I lived on 99 cent double cheeseburgers and took the bus there.. Shooting is absolutely out of the question and everyone keeps asking me why I'm so bitter.... Shooting was my oasis. it kept me sane through the tough times. Now I'm selling my guns and reloading equipment just to register the vehicle and insure it another year. If it gets any worse, I will have to sell the truck and buy a F'n scooter! My little brother had severe scholiosis and was in a back brace from his neck to nuts. The curvature in his spine was so bad his hip was displaced 2" requiring him to also wear prosthetic shoes and 1 had a 2" lift to upright him. He was constantly bullied and I beat dozens of kids. during my suspensions I would spend the day with my proud papa going to movies, eating chili burgers and picking up model kits to build while I was out of school. as Z mentioned. My dad always told me to never start a fight... just end em; So thats what I did. After being kicked out of the school district for the 3rd time my dad took me out and bought me a new BMX. He told me it wasnt a present for being a bad child, it was for always being the one to end the fights and he was very proud. All this politically correct BS w kids these days is developing a global phenomenom of little wussies! your girl did the right thing. now take her out for ice cream and praise her for her selfless act. I don't see a lawyer getting involved in something the law didn't get involved in.

I'm about to buy a K dot, and I am wondering if they have fixed the problems you guys mentioned. I don't like dealing w warranty issues and If I buy something as expensive as the K-dot it better run like the energizer bunny! DO you all like your K-dots?

I was moving from WPB to Vegas and decided to stop at a Sheraton in orlando FL. for some rest. I woke up to find everything I own except the ibook and the clothes I was wearing gone with a broken passenger side window of my FJ Cruiser to boot. I had a Pioneer 60" plasma, my whole wardrobe, amenities, work laptop, turntables, mixer, monitors, navigation, kitchen crap, linens, you name it. they stole it. Sheraton's cameras were "disabled" and they have a sign about 100 yards from where I parked stating they are not responsible for loss or damage. I asked where the security guards are and how this obviously took a considerable amount of time as well as needing at least 2 people to get the TV out first. There is no hotel security! gave a police report. bought renters insurance(now that I own nothing)... it was definately a tough deal. the window was $300 to replace. I lost over 30k for a little nap. Correct me if I 'm mistaken but as a huge JMB fan, I would say my Hi-power is a narrow wide body. I have 17 rounders for it that are no bigger than the 10 rounders. the big difference would be in Calibers. a Colt 1911 is a single stack. a HP is not. If samuel Colt was going to "perfect" JMB's design a year later, it would have been a wide body .45 like S_I, Para figured out 75+ years later. A single stack is a single stack no matter how you look at it; and they all accept 1911 mags... go figure! The Smith gun you are referring to is not a single stack and its double action(correction if I'm wrong.) That is probably why its not on the list.
