  1. Got my wife an XD9. First time out with it she sprained the ligiments/muscles between her index and middle finger on her right/support hand due to tension of recoil spring. Tried a lighter one and she still can't rack it comfortably. Don't know about the Glock but caution all about this problem, for her!

My Dillon 650 hates NT .45 brass. Primer hole is for large pistol primers, NT's small pistol. Have to take out the case feeder tube to get the damn thing out. Giant Pain!!!! Jim B
  3. I would love to hear your opinions of Front Sight!!!!! Jim B.
  4. Great info here! The draw to me is 3 parts: gun out, presentation/target acquisition and firing. My problem is waiting to assure myself that i have a good sight picture before pressing the trigger. I know I must do more dry practice to cut this out. If I'm doing the presentation correctly, grip especially, I should be on target. Its a matter of building confidence for that 1st shot! Jim B.

  6. The Dillon manuals have exploded drawings with numbers that reference the part # and part name. The manuals can be downloaded from Dillons's web site. The 650 manual has drawings and part lists on several pages starting about page 50. Shos that I need to spend more time matching the drawings in the instruction book, pg. 50, et seq, to the points listed here. Thanks, Jim B
  7. Any way to get part #s associated with the above for a 650?
  8. Hi all: I've used my 30' 5th wheel pulled w/ Duramax Chev often going to matches. We (wife & I) generally figure if we use trailer for more the 3 days out, it pays to take in vs. staying in hotel. 2,000 miles to O/l-10 nats in Missoula, Mt. Used an RV park at c. $35/nite compared to Holiday Inn at $109/nite. Got 10+ mpg. vs. 18 when not pulling. Have gone to many west coast matches and taken trailer. For anticipated dry camping a Honda 2000 generator is perfect. Runs all but air conditioner. If its to be hot, I take both my Honda 2000's. Check Good Sams for Camp Club USA. Often parks offer rates 1/2 off - 19-25/nite. Bottom line for me is I have more freedom w/ RV. Meals are cheaper, sleep in own bed, etc. Bottom line is both cost and personal preference. 9. Just copied Dillon's 12/15/06 post on lubrication 650. Would sure like to see part numbers added so I can link part as shown in instruction book to the loader. I'm kinda slow, you see. I need pictures to fully understand what is supposed to be lubed, tightened or adjusted. Thanks, Jim B.
  10. In July, bought DP adjustable REAR sight with green FO rods. I use DP front with red FO rod. WHAT a DIFFERENCE!!! I can now really lever my full-size Kimber, focusing on the front sight like never before. Blurring the target for me seem to occur magically because my old eyes are close-focused on the light provided by the DP combination! Jim B.
