I also have been using Tripp 10mm System mags. I don't think they are really a 10 round mag. The product packaging label says 9 rounds. I know they start with a ten round body and shorten it up to fit the box. Are you guys getting 10 rounds? Reloadable? Paul

Actually this barrel went in a high mileage gun. The barrel went right in. No fitting required (feet of course). It went right in! Not loose though. No cuts on hood length required. Chamber should be good. We all know Wil Schuemann knows what he is doing. Free bore however may need a little something to accomidate longer rounds. Wil recommends .200" of free bore. This is for a standard length 9mm round. Does anybody lengthen the free bore for 9mm major loaded out?

I am installing a new Schuemann 9mm AET barrel in my 9mm major. I have two questions. These barrels are already finish chambered. What diameter should the freebore be for .355 bullets? It seems the freebore is a little snug. Both factory rounds and my own loads require a little push to fully chamber. The bullets clearly show drag marks from the freebore area. I would think you might want .0005 -.001" clearance in this area?? Second, the rounds I load are around 1.190 OAL length, should the free bore be lengthened by the same amount I have increased the AOL of the cartridge? Thanks Paul

What is the difference between the SVI and the STI tubes as far as the mag catch is concerned? Is it neccessary to match SVI catch with SVI tubes? Or STI tubes with Sti Catch?. I have heard of cross compatibility, ( Sti Catch with SVI tubes), Does it work the other way around?

Where is the best (least expensive) place to buy new SVI .40 tubes? Thanks

I went to the local Radio Shack preparing to get hosed a good $5-6 for a 1/3 N battery. I have purchased them there before, I know they are not cheap. Nobody else around has them. It takes a little mental conditioning for me to accept the ridiculous price of these little bastards, before I decide to stock up. Anyway, when I arrive, I find they are now $8. WTF? Don't you just love being a consumer, getting screwed at every turn. Not this time, I didn't buy any.

I have personally used the Ontrack recovery software to recover whole partitions worth of files. It works awesome, and finds everything!
