Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Jim was one of the first people to make me feel welcome and show me the ropes as a new shooter. He will be missed. Kevin Speer
  2. I had a very close friend who raced Baja in 06 on motorcycle, he died in October of 07 and that show makes me smile, because he never could put it into words what is was like, but I think they did. KS
  3. I will see you there Cheryl! Kevin I stand corrected! I also stand chosen! I am in!!!!!!!!! Cor, That means you, me, Tom, Cousin It, Rick Bittle and Scott Patterson are in. Who did you list for squad mates? Here ya go, Barb:
  4. We had a great time shooting with you at the Johnson 3-Gun!!!

    Rod and Cheryl

  5. Friday night. Time is up in the air. Funny you should mention Sadies Salsa we are bringing up 5 or 6 cases for the DFW crew. Oh yeah, by the way you are more that invited. We will have one helluva crew there. Kevin Speer
  6. There is a thread about this very thing going on in Glock Talk right now under the Tactics and Training section. Very interesting KS Thinking I would find something entertaining to watch this early at work, I clicked...I watched...I winced. THAT was freaking scary. The burning targets at the end, nice touch...I now must own incendiary rounds in .45ACP to try this at my local range. The RO would love it.
  7. She is pretty new at all of this. For the most part, I have been working on getting her into a platform that runs and is consistent and in all fairness, she didnt have her STI until the day before she left, so it was hard to really get past the basics when fighting the equipment issues. As for my trigger prepping, you must prep yours with my Crown Royal, because I went looking for that bottle after the RO class and havent seen it since! Kevin
  8. There is a pretty good range in Carlsbad. They used to shoot USPSA there, but the club has been defunct for quite a while. I think they may shoot SASS. http://www.cityofcarlsbadnm.com/parks_and_...sports_complex/ I found this link, but have no idea about any of the range rules, i.e. drawing and shooting on the move. Hobbs NM has a USPSA club. http://www.leaactionshooters.com/ Pretty good guys. They held the West Texas regional last year at their club. They even gave me a gun after I DQ'ed. How is that for cool! New Gun Time

    Good looking blaster Dave!
  10. I bought an upper a few years back. I a similar problem. Factory ammo would run, but reloads wouldnt. I bought a small base body die and it still didnt run. I was getting a bunch of wierd marks on the brass also. I sent it back it and come to find out, they hadnt run a "finishing" reamer through it. KS
  11. Yes it does. I think Alamogordo Jim would be in deep trouble if he wasnt drinking.
  12. The same rain that delayed my app. to Area 2 because of flooding in El Paso. Kevin
  13. I havent seen any stage descriptions posted Catfish. Kevin
