  1. I'm a small female and prefer a softer recoil. The 180's work just fine for me. The gun cycles fast enough but the recoil is quite manageable!
  2. Molly, Congratulations to you!!! My first match was a Glock match also. I eventually won top Lady until I was kicked into Master class. Have fun with it and I recommend going to a Babes with Bullets ® ladies shooting camp! You will have so much fun and get the very best instruction from the best women shooters!!! Just go to babeswithbullets.com. Debbie
  3. I actually would like to see a variety of employees who have different shooting backgrounds. Tactical, competitive, shotgun, riflt, pistol... A female shooter employee would be great to help the ladies. Men often don't know whats best for a woman shooter.
  4. Now she needs to register to attend a Babes with Bullets ® ladies shooting camp and have some great fun with awesome instruction!!
  5. Ha! I Did just that! I shot Glock forever, then switched to Para....My advice....Go straight to STI! It's the best move I ever made! Camerons Custom guns in Phoenix puts out a great STI Gun!

  7. Daniel, I teach ladies how to shoot and I am a petite female myself! The XD or M&P are both good guns for the ladies. The grip is adjustible on the M&P and the XD feels really good in smaller hands also. Of course, a heavier gun will have less recoil so maybe a single stack STI would be a good way to go as well. For great STI guns I recommend Cameron's Custom Guns in Phoenix! But, an easy starter gun would be the XD or the M&P in .9mm. Any other lady shooter questions, please feel free to contact me. I also have great sources for training for her as well! Debbie Oh yeah, the CZ has a nice grip too if she doesn't mind the double action first pull....I've got Angus right here in town that could hook her up!

  18. How's the G34 working out for your wife? Sorry I came on so late in the communication. I loved my G34 when I shot Glock!! I personally like a 147grn bullet and Blade-tech gear. Safariland is great also. If your wife wants to get some excellent instruction and have a great time doing it, you might want to check out the ladies camp run by Kay Miculek! go to babeswithbullets.com There are classes schedule around the country. Portland Oregon is in June and I know slots are available and we have one right here in Mesa, AZ in November after Area 2. I will be teaching at both.
  19. Lisa Munson and I had the pleasure of receiving a private tour of Dillon Precision guided by Nyle. This was just two weeks before his passing. I am now very thankful for that visit and for the wonderful stories he told us that day! Nyle is greatly missed by all of us!! Debbie Keehart
  20. RUready, I have the same problems as you. I put the pro grip on my left palm and back of my right hand. But, for the sweaty hand issue....A-Grip is awesome! Go to Brookstactical.com. You can get it in several colors. I have it on all my guns! However, that only helps with the moisture. My left hand still breaks lose just as you describe. Everyone tells me to hang on tighter with the left hand. Have you done any of the strengthening exercises recommended. Please let me know if you find something that improves your grip. From your photo, the grip looks correct...
  21. Thank you for the warning! I also shoot a Para out of a Ghost. I wonder if its because the holster is built for a square trigger guard and the Para is rounded. I will ask/discuss with Angus directly.
  22. http://www.progressivemachine.net/products.html These guys have some GREAT high quality gear. If you are into shotguning, check out their four and six shell holders. Best on the market as far as I am concerned. Great supporters of the sport too. TG TG, Thanks for the tip. I'm set with shotgun gear. Mark Buchanan of 3gungear.com custom made everything to fit me!
