  1. A true gunsmith with a mill can do it easily. Talk to fellow shooters in your area. Make sure the smith has done before, you don't want to be the experiment. Good luck.
  2. If all you have is a manual mill it's what you have to do. I have access to cnc mills so I always mill the posts.
  3. Uspsa has never been a pure shooting contest. Has always had problem solving as a large part of it. Either physical or mental problem solving.
  4. Agreed. Will break screws off without posts. Have had to drill out broken screws and add pins for several people
  5. This is not a USPSA problem this is a local problem. In my area we have 25-35 yd targets in every match. Seldom have movement more than 15 yards without shooting. If your local club puts on a crappy match shoot elsewhere or step up and help run a better match.
  6. All that would do is change hit factor.3x 15 seconds is still half as much as 3x30 seconds slow will still be slow .
  7. Why not just go to the inevitable end and go airsoft now ?
  8. I find the more complaining before they shot it the more they like it after they shoot it
  9. The hammer will not fall when you pull the trigger on a flagged gun. The disconector de activates the trigger from the sear unless the bolt is fully in battery.
  10. I assume your going to step up and start running matches as part of the we?
  11. If my memory is correct his main gun went down just before match and he showed up with a single stack 38 super iron sight comp gun and Finnished in top 16 possibly top 10. Was at match but was a long time ago.
  12. One of the best things about USPSA to me is unlike any other sport anyone can put thir money down and compete with the world's absolute best on an even playing feild.
  13. Ya I thought about it and it was out of line. My apologies. This whole thing of some people trying to tear uspsa down is starting to get to me.
  14. Is the 3$ the organization gets per shooter the issue with all this uproar? Seriously 3$ ?? Go back to video games you won't be missed.
  15. Don't remember what he said but dot 100 %.
  16. Having shot 30+ nationals, I agree with having 1 ,2 at most nationals a year.also kill off the prize for everyone mentality. Give meaningful prizes to top 10( or whatever number makes sense) in each class. Hanging around for 2 hrs to get a $200 certificate off a $9000 build is like winning an empty envelope.
  17. Production was screwed up from beginning. Should have been irons,no ports, fits box w/mag, capacity full or what's legal in state where match is. I would also say major/minor to keep sport loyal to its beginning but I know that ship sailed.
  18. If this is a new build or new to you used gun yes. If sighted in before tumbling problem would be something else. Was scope and or mount off gun for reaming was done?
  19. What changed about gun. Why do you have to re zero?
  20. I belive he mentioned number if factory made guns to be leagle
  21. If I remember correctly ltd was started in response to optics. I also think the 170mm mag length was based on wilson 10 rd 45 mag everyone had bought in response to 38 supper holding 10 rds.
  22. Don't belive ever had production numbers in ltd. That started with production.
  23. When i started,1990,you shot what you had. Only stipulation was min.9mm parabellum min cal because it was lowest cartridge considered usable for self defense. You shot either a 1911 45 or a browning hi-power in 9mm. Someone decided the could make major w 38 super and have 3 extra rds.. lots of people were injured trying to do it,aka "super face". Passed rule had to have fully supported chamber to make major. Game changed when jerry Barnhart put a red dot on a 1911 and kicked ass. Para-ordinance hi cap frame hit about same time. Ltd as we know it was started at about same time. 40 cal was to stop people from trying to make major. 180 at time I belive.,with 9mm. See super face above
