  1. Check over on Rimfire Central, they have a section dedicated to the M&P15-22. https://www.rimfirecentral.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=305
  2. The Wilson case gauge is not a chamber gauge. It is more of a case length/shoulder location gauge and does not check for 'fat' cases. https://www.midsouthshooterssupply.com/item/00088cg3acc/lpointepoint-wilson-cartridge-case-gage-300-acc-blackout "This is a one-piece, non-adjustable cylinder-type gage for checking fired and resized cartridge cases for cone-to-head and overall length" Get a real chamber case gauge from EGW, or Lyman (which I think are made by EGW) Take a sharpie and color the entire case and then after chambering it, look to see where the sharpie is rubbed off. HA, found the post I was looking for
  3. Since you normally shoot a Walther for competition, have you considered the Walther P22? I think they are $250-280?
  4. I used to use the locking pinch type lock rings, but recently went back to the standard Dillon lock rings and the UniqueTek wrench. https://uniquetek.com/product/T1532
  5. I have the Lab Radar and it works great, but the user set up menu is kind of clunky. The ease of use and extra data is really nice. Set up takes all of 2 minutes and I get velocity data from muzzle to 200 yards with .223 pretty reliably, although the down range data does work more consistently with larger calibers. I also have the MagnetoSpeed which works great on rifle and PCC, not so much for pistol. The price for the MagnetoSpeed has really dropped in the last year or so.
  6. Advanced Tactical carries them. They show out of stock, but if you call, they probably can find one. https://advancedtactical.com/vr80-bolt-catch-pin.html If no luck there try Hayes Customs.
  7. I have run a LOT of WAP through my MPX. 5.9 grains with a 115 gr (1250FPS) and 5.6 grains with a 124 gr bullet (1150FPS IIRC), small pistol primer of your choice at 1.125 OAL.
  8. Vortex also makes good rangefinders, they have models capable of 1000yds for $199.99 up to $499.99. https://www.adorama.com/l/Drones-and-Sport/Vortex-Optics~Laser-Rangefinders-and-Accessories
  9. Kidd occasionally has sales, and discount codes as well as the quantity pricing.
  10. You forgot to say "And stay off my lawn!" I didn't get the impression the OP was a 'shoot and scoot' type, but I guess it is just politically incorrect to ask a question about why or why not.
  11. The trigger reset is quicker and shorter on the 10/22. It's also less than $100 to put a 1.5lb Kidd drop-in single stage trigger.
  12. It is a legitimate question, just poorly phrased. Several clubs local to me give discounts for helping to set up and a discount coupon for helping to tear down, valid at the next match. The set up discount is 50% off the current match entry and the tear down coupon varies from 10 to 20% depending on the club and size of the match. Why would asking a question make a person unwelcome at your matches? Not everyone comes into the sport with the full historical knowledge of the sport and some have participated in other sports that are less volunteer oriented.
  13. This! I had to do this at a major when I mistakenly brought a different load for my backup ammo. I supplied 8 rounds of the JHP load and 8 rounds of the FMJ load. Chrono Dude had a good laugh at my expense and fired 3 of the JHP load, which made major and 3 of the FMJ load, which again made major. No biggie!
  14. Project much? Out of the hundreds, perhaps thousands of people who have run through your matches, you have to remember back 15 years to remember 1 or possibly 2 people who cheated? and now you consider everyone a possible cheater? Sad.
  15. Actually the Factory Crimp Die only ensures the outside brass dimensions. It does not ensure the brass has a proper hold on the bullet especially with lead bullets. When the FCD squeezes the brass, the brass will spring back a small amount. The lead bullet is squeezed by the brass and lead does not spring back. Depending on hardness and diameter of brass and bullet I've seen the FCD increase Over All Length as the case is pulled out of the die by the FCD squeezing the bullet up out of the case.
  16. And the character I've seen revealed in nearly 30 years of competition has shown me the exact opposite of your characterization of our fellow competitors.
  17. I think you meant this https://www.trackofthewolf.com/Categories/PartDetail.aspx/1210/1/CASE-38-SHORT-COLT
  18. Wow! You need to get out of your basement more often and please leave the tinfoil hat behind. On second thought, If that's what you think of your fellow competitors/Enosverse members, leave the tinfoil hat on and stay in the basement.
  19. I've been listening to a lot of Surf music lately. Bullwinkle by the Centurions Malibu Babylon by the Blue Stingrays (later to become the Heartbreakers)
  20. Hmmm, I wonder if this would work for coupled VR80 mags?
  21. Just put whatever extension you want on it. I'm pretty sure even the ATF can't answer your question, and unless you're selling dozens of shotguns, they aren't the least bit interested in what parts you have in your shotgun.
