    solo 1000

Well I appreciate the help I normally buy 24lbs at a time ,so this was the first I noticed.I guess I'll be good for the next 24lbs until I need to recheck. quote name='technetium-99m' timestamp='1309874540' post='1485485'] Jugs vary, my current jug takes 4.8gr behind a 180gr lead bullet at 1.180 to make 175PF. Have to stay on top of your chronoing.
  6. I've ran solo 1000 behind lead bullets for the past two years 4.4grs at 1.135 and it made 169-171pf.This last lot of powder I bought is taking a great deal more to make major . Has anyone else had this problem ? Is it abad batch ? Does it generally vary this much lot to lot ? I've emailed the manufacturer , but they didn't reply . Now I'm asking the people.
  7. I use e3 in my two limited guns 3.6 grs 1.130 makes 170pf in my edge and 168pf in my sti ipsc anniversary with 180 gr bullets.I love the way it feels but have had trouble with it melting the bases of lead bullets so unless i'm gonna clean after every couple hundred rds I only use it with jacketed or coated bullets. The only coated bullets that I've had hold up to it were bayou bullets. But i'm sure barrels will be different
  8. my fiance tried to put pics up but had trouble still trying for those interested i know i can email them
  9. I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THE CHANGE THE GUN CYCLES MUCH FASTER A LITTLE MORE FELT RECOIL BUT FLATTER
  10. I WILL SEE IF MY FIANCE CAN DO IT FOR ME I'M NOT THAT COMPUTER LITERATE BUT I'LL TRY
  11. Bubba - I'd have to disagree with you on the slide being too fat. I have an Edge (Dawson HPF) as well as an SV with a lightened slide. I've also shot a Brazos with a shortened dust cover. My preference is to shoot that Fat Boy its just easier for me to control. A light slide will make it feel snappy you can do that by just making a poor powder choice. You can adjust the feel of the gun a lot with recoil spring selection. Slide lighting isn't reversable, and affects how the gun feels during shooting.
  12. I have two 5 inch sti guns my primary is a edge that gary at gans guns removed a lot of material from the slide with an 11lb spring. my back up is a sti anniversary model (same as the legend )I love my edge. I have shot 6 in guns and see no constant advantage as most uspsa targets are close. Nobody can tell what will work best for you but you so good luck and hope you find what you're looking for.
  13. Agreed, his slides look AMAZING and he works FAST. Bubba - I'd have to disagree with you on the slide being too fat. I have an Edge (Dawson HPF) as well as an SV with a lightened slide. Slide lighting isn't reversable, and affects how the gun feels during shooting. Gary at Gans does a great job of trimming the fat. I've seen a number of nice looking one of a kinds done by Matt Cheely but the guy at LimCat can make it look like some kind of alien space gun truely an artist. All of my open guns have 9-10oz slides but its a different technology, but no cool alien space look. Thanks for the tip I sent the gun to gans about a month ago . I had it back in one week from shipment he did an awesome job. Service was better than any where I've done gun bussiness with I would recommend him to anybody needing a related service
  14. Blake Miguez and his father Steve both use them. The only way I've ever seen them used was with bolens parts . I was wondering if anyone did anything different
  15. Is that 22 reloadable ?
  16. I say pimp your gat negative attention is still attention . I also believe no one should ever see your carry gun .
  17. I was wondering what is the highest capacity anyone is getting from the rescomp mags ? What springs , followers ,and base pads were used ? Will they fit in a mag gauge ?
  18. But on second thought I may give them another look if the service is that good .But I'm sure I want it lightened my other sti has only a 2oz lighter slide and to me it shoots better cycles faster. 19. I don't care how snappy it is I can reverse slide lightening with recoil springs I like the way my glock feels just can't deal with the trigger.I've spoke with the guy at gans but I found everything they do to limited guns typical if they would cut it like they do the open guns I woud be in.Holes and gills are out the question . Salient Arms

Does anyone have contact info for Salient Arms specialising in Glock work? I like the look of the slide lighting work they have done, and would like to have it done on my 24.
