  1. The person will get 100% of the stage points in the division vs the overall stage winner and get or makeup more points.
  2. My understanding is those roni are considered braces And if someone did have a legal sbr config, that would still be against current rule set.
  3. Pistol braces are already not permitted besides the list of legal modification in appendix D4. We already have to rules about equipment and it’s up to the RO to check and see and not start if not in compliance. Just replying to your SBR example, even if shooter slapped a roni into pistol, I guess you’d be shooting for no score as the pistol would weight too much and braces are not allowed.
  4. What is your OAL? They can rub if loaded too long depending on bullet profile.
  5. It’s starts with calling 1 shot at a time, so when you learn to call a marginal hit by the end of stage you have a pretty good idea of how many Cs you shot.
  6. Could be a bad spring, put the spring in another known good mag body and see if issues follows it.
  7. Old steel challenge commands
  8. According to the 2018 Nationals equipment survey, slideride was only 17%. Most open shooters have moved to smaller footprint red dot like the rts2 and dpp. Possibly the SRO might take over as preferred optic.
  9. Looks like a few places have them in stock, at least the C in red color, the elite green is another story.
  10. speed shooters has one of the cheely custom ones
  11. Only thing I could find was under club resources on 3gunnation.com website, looks like they list the best times, scores for classifiers. https://www.3gunnation.com/club-series/
  12. If you are talking about USPSA, there is a classifier calculator where you just enter your HF score for any division and classifier and it will tell you or you can check your percentage on Wednesday after the weekly update at. uspsa.com
  13. If a Glock or M&P is all you have or can afford, then shoot what you have. I started with a G35 and got a magwell and tungsten guiderod. And then I shot a friends 2011, game over.
  14. I can be the best driver also but you won’t see me driving a Yugo on the autobahn.
  15. Sell your polymer gun and get a 2011 or CZ/Tanfo metal frame gun.
  16. Depending on barrel length, you will be much lower than the starting charge weight. I have a14.5” barrel and I was around 4.4-4.5gr of CFE with 115 jhp for 1175-1200fps. I think you will be close to 1300fps at 4.9gr out of 16” barrel.
  17. 130-135pf range is nice, did not like CFE Pistol powder as it didnt seem to burn completely and left powder gain in upper around bcg. I’m using WSF powder as seems to work comp better than faster burning powders.
  18. Usually comes down to one best way to shoot and whoever can execute it the best. Choices in stage plan typically just involve where to reload.
  19. That only works when the match official is asking something backed by a rule, not just cause I say so.
  20. Then just bump to open and load to 10. Takes care of the inequity from those who would of shot chrono first and load up to 10 minor vs those who shoot last and only got to shoot 8 rd minor for score.
  21. Yeah, I don’t agree with swapping just for perceived advantages of more rounds.
  22. I’m not in favor of trying to make whole someone who broke a rule. I don’t get to reshoot any of the stages if I fail chrono. We all draw cards and some start on a hard stage or an easy stage, it’s just the way the cookie crumbles I guess.
