  1. not trying to bash him - I wrote him on thursday - and his call number had a time of 5PM -7Pm and I couldn't sue to my job - he seemed to have very limited hrs. to call or I would when i had the opportunity. I am soory i even posted this now. Geez. I gave the guy thursday and Friday which was not weekends and was wondering. I was trying to support them if they were on this site and that is what I stated. But no reply semmed rather weird. My web presence re: my business get's checked at least 3-4 times daily! Again - next time - I won't post and I will just silently go to another vendor. see ya!
  2. I wrote this GT targets about info 3 days ago because i saw him listed here on Brian's pages somewhere. I never received a reply. is this guy legit? is is useless? bad businessman? or what? Just curious. I am interested in a steel target to buy but he does not seem very interested in selling any. I may go to the other company that I talked to - at least they were willing to talk and help me with some info. Thank you for any comments re: this individual.

  4. Wow! Thanks Brian! I will give it a try - now to get my bino's back from my daughter.... :-)))
  5. I felt a little dumb asking this basic question; however I can see it opened up a bit of discussion here and I guess that is good. Thanks for the comments!
  6. Thanks for all the comments. DMS42 - I have thought more along your lines....with the exception of calling the shot but actually hitting that shot or that area on the target. But I do also understand what you mean. I think I am on the path to understanding this in your face yet very illusive Quality to shooting - calling your shot. Thank you all so much. best wishes!
  7. We talk abut it on this forum enough that it amazes me that we have many long time forum members that haven't grasped the concept. They are some that are still running around, with lower classifications, thinking this stuff is about shoving the gun at the target and pulling the trigger. I guess that is why I asked. I see it talked about but did not want to just imagine I know what it is. my feelings were pretty much what you say so I guess I was not far off; justs wanted 'To Know' for sure! eh? Thank you both for the replies.
  8. Yes they do and that is that magical link between us all.
  9. sorry - I am lost or confused or just do not understand correctly what Brian and some you refer to as "calling your shot". I think I have a fuzzy feeling but I need to know more explicitly what exactly does this mean or what is the definition of "calling your shot." thank you. p.s. I am not competition - just a tactical and also a defensive protection shooter. I train hard when I can though; but I am not doing the IPSC or IDPA or whatever other things there are out there.
  10. I lost my father many years ago to mesothelioma and he should have still been here today! I miss him very much too, so I empathisize with you. Hang in there and have a quiet moment for him. best wishes, Norman
  11. Too bad a lot of the videos here in the gallery are WSM - I am on a Mac and quicktime is what I use. I do not use any microshaft stuff on any of my macs. Too bad. Dying to see many of these videos. Thanks anyway!
  12. I too believe a smaller caliber and do not put pressure on her. maybe just shoot at larger targets for the fun of targets and shooting and not trying to hit the 10 zone all the time or whatever. then maybe trying slower shots for more serious targetting.
  13. This is an old Tiv (of Nigeria) proverb I learned from one of my Anthropolgy professors many years ago. Yes I am an Anthropologist amongst other things. This does relate to Zen and after some thought really does apply to Training and could be posted in that section as well. "Teh teh hemba yem! Slowly, slowly defeats quickly!" if not relevant, feel free to delete this thread. thanks.
