I'm not seeking revenge. But I just couldn't bring myself to pay twice for the same unit. I did end up buying the Lyman Gen6 and I'm glad I did. The Lyman takes up less space on the bench than the RCBS, easier to calibrate, throws charges faster and (the most important thing to me) is more accurate (less drift). So far so good. The RCBS was a good machine but this Gen6 Lyman is a winner. I highly recommend it.

It was about 5 years old. My problem is they charge $200 to replace the unit. In the years previous they were replacing units for around $50. I would have had no problems replacing it for $50, but for $200 I can try my luck with another brand.

This is what I'm doing. The Lyman stuff looks pretty good and from what I've heard Lyman really stands behind their products... unlike RCBS. I'm done with them.

Will the 3 Gun results on Practicescore be put in numerical order like the USPSA results are?

I've had a RCBS Chargemaster 1500 for a bunch of years now and it has worked great. Today I go to fire it up and it just says "02009" on the screen. Called RCBS and they said "Oh that's a fatal error. Your unit is out of warranty, send it back to us with $200 and we'll replace it." $200?!?!? Anyone else had to deal with RCBS' customer service with Chargemasters?

I'm in this boat too. Driving down 10 hours there's no way we'll make it before registration closes at 7pm... What do we do?

The USCA looks cool and I'd definitely shoot it (if it came to my area), but.... After reading the rules, it appears the matches are VERY heavily weighted on accuracy over speed. Even IDPA isn't as strict as USCA with regards to FTNs.

I agree, 748 is great stuff for 55gr bullets on the short stuff. For long range (>100yds) I stick with Varget.

I hope they allow 10mm in CDP.

Got something like this on the screen: Added entry for J B from 120.132.71.161 with verification number 136262890636.67 -- You will receive a Registration Code for the application by email within 24 hours. Never got an email response with any code. Am I doing something wrong?

Not this match. NY laws don't apply on the military base they hold it on (West Point). Even full auto is good to go. They have stages with M249's, MP7's and even AT-4 anti tank weapons. Brings a smile to my face just thinking about it.

Any word of a 6th annual Combat Weapons Team match this year?

When you enter a match like the FNH USA 3 Gun Championship how do they know you registered for the Semi-Pro 3GN points series? There's no where to enter your Semi-Pro shooter number on the application. Just wondering. Thanks.

It'd be great if they had steel knockdown like the ProAm in the Olympics. Really lends itself well to television and is exciting to watch. Although I know it'll never happen...
