  1. Something doesnt sound right when the tracking number isnt valid. Are you just going to leave us hanging on what you bought?
  2. Sorry for the drift but, Pat people way there watch NASCAR.
  3. I saw some where that Matt had won some local or state matches and gave the prize to the runner up and I guess it trickled down. If true thats pretty cool.
  4. The TV show combat missions, when they have to reach in a box full of diffrent gun parts and put one together. The guy from the CIA is fumbling with a M4 and it goes off while he is still putting it together and its pointed at the guy beside him. Good thing it was blanks.
  5. If you like stick people got to stickdeath.com. Sorry dont know how to do the direct link thing.
  6. The only thing not to like is the near part of nakkid.
  7. Welcome Dunedain, This is the best site to join in to become a better shooter. Not to mention a bunch of great people hang out here. The first piece of advise is to join USPSA and when your in the mood help support this forum by donating or purchase something from BE. I think there maybe some others here from your area too. Good Shooting
  8. Chriss, Will the 38 super mags work in your new gun or will you have to get new mags. Just curious.
  9. Kyle, What is the max distance set up for rifle shots? On the shotgun courses will it be high round count or will you be able to get away with a side saddle? Trying to figure out what I'll need if I get to go. Thanks Jon
  10. TN, Can you shed some insight on what you mean by physically demanding as ever. What types of COF ranges anything else that will help. Thanks
  11. TN What makes it better than the rest? What shooting positions does it work best in or is the design mainly for transitions to your secondary?
  12. Erik, even if it was declared minor shooting 170pf, what would keep me from shooting it? If the BOD was worried about being sued that much they would have also have put in a max. pf to keep people from blowing up thier guns. And put in no lead in stock glocks and so on and so on. I'm just not convinced of what the real reason for this is.
  13. My question is this. Is there anything in the USPSA rules that says someone can not shoot a 9mm at 165pf in compitition. If my understanding is correct it will just be scored as minor. If this is true I dont really think this is a saftey issue and if its not true I am a dumbass and dont know the rules. IMHO If the BOD was really thinking about what would help this sport they would change this ruling. Coming from a newbie this may not hold much wait, but we need more newbies than GM's. It would be nice to see M-GM's shoot a 9mm for the next year with no problem and see which lame excuse is used to not approve it being scored as major then.
  14. Chris maybe your nickname sould be double barrel
  15. Les, I was hoping they were going to have near southern pines again this year. What distances with a rifle are to be expected? Any other info on the match would be helpfull. I hope to get signed up soon before it files up. Jon
  16. Matt, Other than the equipment all you need is safe gun handling skills to compete. If your not a member join USPSA find a club and start shooting. Good Luck
  17. I have'nt seen one in a couple of months.
  18. I had some dummy rounds a while back that I had painted black but I cant locate em. Just wondering if anybody else thought there was a big diffrence. I guess I'll have to do some more. The one problem I do have with the dummy rounds is the mag speed when released. Its so fast that the released mag hits the ground before my other mag is loaded. hehehe
  19. I dont like to practice with ammo being around for the obvious reasons. While practicing I can really tell a diffrence. Does most just use empty magazines or reloads without the primer and powder.
  20. BE I guess you can take gungames off your links page. I enjoyed it while it lasted.
  21. I was having to shift my grip so this is what I did on my single stack. Added the wilson paddle mag release (which you may can get from our host) and got out the drimmel and tooled out a place for my thumb in the wood grip. It worked for me.
  22. "AHHHHHH done"... Beep! "What the"..........Click "Damn not again"
