Lilgun works great in my 9.75" 300whisper with 220smks or 168smks and I think the charge is 8.2gr but I'd have to check

Wanted to thank Doug and the SGM Scott for an excellent match!!! I am totally spent after shooting the overflow match with the ROs yesterday and today. Every stage was a challenge with lots of shooting and movement. The USMC team did a great job in the house and stage one's long steel was tough in that wind for sure. I second the appreciation for the "big boy rules" and the RO's keeping it safe and fun. Looking forward to next year already!

Nothing wrong with shooting what ya have! I've been tempted to put down my 870 and join the M2 crowd, but it would be for gun games only and I prefer to shoot my SHTF gear and work on my skills more than chase a higher ranking at a match. I have no illusions of becoming an "Alien Rockstar" of 3gun. (don't ask me what that means... Heard it at last weekends match for the first time, LOL) Since my 870 is an 14" SBS and 5+1 home defense gun. For 3gun I change out the barrel to an FO topped 21" railed model and add a +4 Nordic tube for 8+1 capacity. Since I like the pistol grip (speedfeed IV-s) I weak hand load off California Comp 4 shell caddies (7) on the belt only. I recommend breakin the edges of the loading area with a file and emery cloth. I've got a question posted now on how to solve the lift gate over travel issue, but once that's resolved the gun will be finished for me.

I'm running my 870 in 3gun and reload weak hand off shell caddies. In practice everything is fine but when the heart is pumping on a stage I tend I pub the lift gate past the "sweet spot" which cause my shells to hit the upper lip of the mag tube. Is there a tutorial for putting an "overtravel stop" on the 870 lift gate to prevent this? An after market lifter maybe?

Going to be a hard sale. NFA is hard to move unless you trade. I'd take $200.00 off the cost to have one built minus any cosmetic issues it has.

Appreciate you checking. Mine are short in the pmags also but past 10 rounds they start bunching to the center because of the Pmag guides for the .223 ogive

Interesting that they run in your Pmag but not mine. I gotta guess that you OAL is shorter than my 2.165" and the ogive is farther away from the Pmag guides that push my loads intk the center of the mag causing non advancement up the mag in my case.

Let me know what you find. I Always download 2 for a cushion myself.

Would really like to have one for my 300 Whisper but can't put the coin down until I know they will run the 220 SMKs at 2.165 OAL Anyyone tried it yet?

My Pmags will not run 220 SMKs but they run fine in Brownells mags with Pmag no-tilts I tried dremeling out the pmags but still no joy.
