Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I have a 1050 with the kiss bullet feeder. Someone told me there is a motor that will turn the crank. Where do I find that?
  2. My Cmore (about 6 months old) loses adjustment about every 500 rounds. I was shooting a steel match today and hitting nothing. Went to an open stage and found that my dot was about 4 inches to the left of center. This is the fourth time I've re-adjusted my sight in the last few months. Yes, I'm tightening the set screw next to the adjustment screw. Is there something else I should be looking for? What could be causing it to drift?
  3. That's funny. I corrected my left shooting by placing less finger on the trigger. I wasn't low, just left.
  4. I'm not bashing your state or anything, but aren't you a bit restricted when it come to buying stuff to compete in 3gun, or even in limited for that matter. You can get anything you need here. You just have to jump through some hoops. Granted it's a little tricky getting an STI here, but it can be done--legally. I was commenting more on the weather than anything else in my original post. It's just not too cold and not too hot here most of the time. I love shooting in AZ, but, ouch, it gets hot in the spring and summer and early fall. PS: you can bash my state if you want. We have a friken movie star for a governor. I'm sure we are a joke to other states.
  5. I put in my vote for socal. I shoot 5 outdoor matches every month. Over the past year we have been so lucky with the weather--not one missed match because of rain. I don't have to be at the range at sunrise to beat the heat in the summer.
  6. At Area 2 match this year there were 4 or 5 dq's--all on the same stage. The shooter runs around a hard cover wall that is set about 190 degrees. Once behind the wall, it was easy for the shooter to lose track of where the 180 is. A target was placed against the hard cover so you had to shoot it from up close or break the 180. I didn't dq, but one of the guys in my squad did. I think this stage was a set-up for failure.
  7. Not to totally change the subject, but how much effect does outside temperature have on velocity? I have a new chronograph. I shot a power factor of 175 a few weeks ago, when it was about 70 degrees F. Today it was about 55 degrees and the same load gave me a pf of 160. Is it the weather or do chronographs vary that much from one use to the next?
  8. I've had the bar-sto for about three months now. Runs very smooth. I'm definitely shooting better with it in limited. Was using G35.
  9. Is anyone using the Redding Competition Bullet Seating Die in their 650? I'm wondering if it works well. I get a few rounds with bulges and would like to eliminate that.
