  1. Absolutely worth it. My kids kick my butt and neither has been to the range with me yet. I can't seem to steady the darn sight. Not sure whether I'm strong hand or weak.
  2. has set their status

  3. Nice vids. Sorry I missed that one. Beautiful day in the desert. Palm Springs Gun Club Love That Steel Match is always a good one.
  4. I shoot a production G34 and use the 147gr JHP reloads by Atlanta Arms. Love em. http://www.atlantaarmsandammo.com/ Hope that helps.
  5. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to One and All - Truly.
  6. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to All.
  7. I've ordered a bunch of stuff from GlockStore.com and been very happy with the price and service. http://glockstore.com/
  8. Thanks Homie that's a nice little demonstation video.
  9. Contac Alex at Glockworx. He may have something further. http://www.glockworx.com/v3/
  10. I've shot with Alex of Glockworx on several occasions. I find his trigger products to be exceptional and very reasonably priced. Also, once you're a customer he provides upgraded parts for triggers you bought at no extra charge. Glockworx has even offered to sponsor an all Glock match at our club. Good stuff. Thanks Glockworx.
  11. Thanks. The JVC Everio HDD Hard Drive Camera/Camcorder does take a nice video. YouTube has a maximum file size of 100mb. Most of our videos are between 35mb to 75mb in size even though they are usually under a minute or so in length.
  12. The monthly IPSC match at the Palm Springs Gun Club Sunday 12-16-07 produced a few decent videos. I put them up on YouTube, here are the links. Please feel free to post comments here and on YouTube. Thanks.
  13. I'm asked every year by family and friends what I most want for Christmas. I usually ask for peace on earth and goodwill towards man but my family and friends aren't accepting that answer anymore. They can't wrap that up and put it under the tree. So when I was pushed this year to tell them what I most wanted for me all I could think about was shooting. If I could have anything I want for Christmas, something that I actually thought my family could afford, I'd want a ne JP-15 complete with Optics. How about you? Whether naughty or nice we still want to know.
  14. I finally had a chance to put a few of my shooting videos up at YouTube for everyone's comments, suggestions and entertainment. You can find all of my videos under the search word "PSGC". Stands for Palm Springs Gun Club. Or you can follow these links: Enjoy!
  15. Shot 3-Gun at the PSGC 12/2 with my Mini 14, Rem 11-87 and production glock 34 and took first place in the Limited category. No surprise that I was the only one shooting Limited. Only 2 open shooters and all the rest shot tactical. I was good enough to have shot 7th overall with about 16 guys shooting. A lot more fun when you start winning your category/division. I think shooting iron sights with the Mini is where I'll stay through next year and then see where I am.
  16. I'm very sorry for your loss. We lost two people in our family this year and the following poem was read at both of their funerals. I hope you don't mind that I share it with you as it uplifted and consoled many friends and relatives including me. The poem is by Canon Henry Scott Holland (1847-1918) a Canon of St Paul's Cathedral. Death is nothing at all I have only slipped away into the next room I am I, and you are you. Whatever we were to each other That we still are. Call me by my old familiar name Speak to me in the easy way which you always used Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow. Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes We enjoyed together. Play, smile, think of me, pray for me, Let my name be ever the household word that It always was. Let it be spoken without effort, Without the trace of a shadow on it. Life means all that it ever meant It is the same as it ever was There is absolutely unbroken continuity. Why should I be out of mind because I am Out of sight? I am but waiting for you For an interval Somewhere very near Just around the corner. All is well.
  17. My Accuracy Systems improvements include: 750" x 18.5" UMSS barrel, Trigger work 3.5#, bedding the stock, new handguard for the thicker barrel, new tuneable gas block for the thicker barrel, machine work and stock fitting. Sub-MOA accuracy guarantee @ 100 yards. Extended magazine release, red Firesight front sight, ghost ring rear sight and urban brawler rail. I've been shooting it in 3-Gun and am very happy.
