  1. Yeah - um... if we're duck hunting we pretty much aren't using light target loads... No need to break in a Benelli. Take it out of the box, put it together and shoot. Ask Tom Knapp. If you've ever seen one of his shows, he takes a brand new Benelli out of the FACTORY shipping box, puts it together, and amazes the crowd. JM Good point. I doubt I'll ever be able to afford a Benelli, though...
  2. Just a newbie to the forum. Been shooting IDPA for years and I shoot IPSC occasionally. Love to hunt, especially with my new weimaraner. I'm also a big 2A activist. I'm an area director for Ted Nugent United Sportsmen of america and a forum moderator at iowacarry.org, where the battle is to make the state "shall" issue instead of "may" issue. I'm looking forward to everyone's thoughts and opinions, as I seem to have plateaued at the sharpshooter level in IDPA, and am looking to learn to practice better and increase my shooting skills.
  3. You have to shoot them with heavy loads for a while until they get broken in, then they work great!
  4. Whoever does the brass for Magtech (CDC? CBC?).....it's easy to see which ones are once-fired. The primer has a stamp that looks kind of like an A
  5. I have a Stoeger S2000 12 gauge, but I've never shot one of their pistols. I like the shotgun, because it's the only way you can get the Benelli inertial recoil system without buying a Benelli.
  6. The thing I like best about my CZ is the low bore axis. You're practically sighting right down your wrist. I had shot a Beretta 92 in IDPA for several years. The first time I ever shot my CZ 85 was at a match, and I scored higher with it than I ever did with the Beretta. 85 or 75 doesn't much matter, unless you're left-handed. The 85b has ambidextrous safety and slide release.
