Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Whew, I'm so releived I made the right decision. I figured I did having talked with Angus on the phone about them when they were in development but having someone compare them side by side is golden. Thanks for the review Albert!
  2. I just went ahead and just ordered 5 of Angus's pads. Hope they work out well. I couldn't wait for your review lol.
  3. Does Angus have his basepads out now? Post your results comparing Angus's Basepad and the Taylor Freelance 2.5. I gotta get some and need to know which is better. Thanks!
  4. Need a die set for reloading .40 S&W. I know a lot of you guys run Dillion dies but what about the Redding dies? What are your guy's oppinions on Reddings sizing and crimp dies? What are the advantages and disadvantages of the Dillion and Redding die sets? Thanks.
  5. I had a 20x and sold it. Very finicky eye relief. Other than that I liked the scope but it was so bad I hated to use it. I guess the 16x are a little better but most people that like them have the 10x. I would imagine a 10x would be a pretty good scope for the price if that would suit your needs. If a 10x wouldn't work for you I would find something different.
  6. How do the triggers compare to the CZ's? I have a CZ and really love the trigger.
  7. Anybody know who has the best prices on these? I need an extention for the M2 I have on order. Should I just contact TRUBL? Thanks.
  8. "Too bad that one Swedish guy quit making fancy parts for CZ. I knew I should have bought those immediately as I saw them." You can get most of the goodies for the CZ's from Angus at www.ghostholster.com I just placed an order with him last week for $600 (ouch!) for my shooting gear, mags, grips and magwell for my TS. He's out of magwells right now but has more on order. He also told me he has a protype basepad right now that holds 21+1 off the line and 20 reloadable so I am going to wait for those to come out before I buy extentions and just shoot L-10 for the time being. Hope that helps you. I love my TS. Like you said, the trigger is great!
  9. Hey Matt or anybody else, If I wanted to lighten up my slide like you did, could I go ahead and just drill the holes with a drill press? I was thinking about drilling the holes in the top just like you did but also some on the sides to lighten it up. Would that work? Thanks.
  10. How much weight is removed by lightening the slide like that? That looks sweet!
  11. Guys I have a question. Why does the gun say it comes with 16 round mags when everybody says they are 17 rounders? On the CZ website under the gun specifications it says 16 round mags and if you go to buy extra mags off the site they say they are 17 rounds. Does it actually come with 16 rounders or is it a typo? Thanks guys.
  12. I just put one on order and was told a little over $900. Hopefully it won't take too long to get one and I can let you know how I like it.
  13. So if I buy just the STI tubes, what basepad, spring and follower would I want to go with for high capacity yet be reliable? I can't afford professionally tweeked mags so I would have to do them myself even if that means giving up an extra round. Thanks.
  14. So how are they getting 20 rounds in these? Are they using 140mm mags and +2 base plates? Is that legal length for limited?
