  1. Yes by original i meant the non-magwell +4/5 extensions he is currently selling. I don’t have any magazines with stock base pads to check. The Floyds is really nice though. Don’t take my word for it though, call Henning Group and ask them, that’s where I got my info from
  2. Post your times! A little over 90 minutes yesterday for my initial certification and my head still hurts. Ended up with a 93%. Taking that test again in a year might be too soon…. Who’s got the speed record?!
  3. On a shadow 2, once you know how it goes in it's less than 5 minutes. Remove the slide, slide the sear spring out of the notch in the safety, push safety out, reinstall new one (left side only for right handed shooters). Put the slide back on...
  4. Shot my DWX against a stock Staccato P today and it made me like the DWX that much better. Flat trigger, trigger (EGW kit) was way lighter, and the reset was shorter. The staccato still felt a little top heavy to me also. Both guns were pretty new. My DWX has about 400 and the P had less than 1000.
  5. Full size short, i assume the compact is different or it wouldnt be labeled as such?
  6. Patriot defense aggressive grips trimmed for a Floyd Custom (TS) magwell. Alignment is perfect. Works great with both Henning extensions and +2 factory extensions. With MBX springs/followers I easily get 24 reloadable with Henning and 23 reloadable with the factory +2’s. Does not work with factory DWX base pads. Also had the barrel reamed for my reloads- RMR 124 MW’s at 1.10. EGW ignition kit with 19lb spring and lightened hammer for a 2lb trigger pull. 11lb glock recoil spring. Waiting on a short trigger from DW to experiment with. Slide was milled by Stonebridge gunworks. My plan is to start shooting LO with it this fall after I hopefully make Master in CO. Anyone have an opinion on competition holsters? I was looking at GX but the wait is crazy… Anything better than RHT?
  7. There’s no way i would send it anywhere that requires you to cerakote the entire slide or wait 16 weeks. I don’t know what others did but the TS magwell from Floyd Customs fits perfectly on the gun and works great with Henning extensions. I used shadow 2 grips from Patriot Defense.
  8. No reason to keep it a secret. I’m sure the company would also like to know…
  9. Shot about 100 rounds through it yesterday with an 11lb flat wire recoil spring for a Glock. It still has the slightest muzzle dip looking at slo-mo footage. Does anyone know where I can get a 10lb spring that will work with the stock guide rod? This thing is extremely accurate. 1 hole at 20 yards off a rest zero’ing the SRO. I also have a DWX short trigger coming to see if I can play with pre-travel.
  10. Finally got it put together https://www.instagram.com/reel/CuPNO8mpgbx/?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
  11. I use 5.11 mtb shoes with sticky climbing rubber but if i don’t wet them first they still aren’t “great”
  12. What about INDOOR shoots on slippery floors?
  13. indoor stages definitely require static reloads more often but I think you would be surprised- my dryfire reloads are about 1.2-1.5 seconds consistently, I’m in A class carry optics. If you factor in the B/C/D/U shooters I wouldn’t be surprised if the average time lost on reloads (especially incorporating poor stage programming) is over 3 seconds. Even good shooters occasionally fumble reloads so if it’s something I can eliminate I’m all for it.
  14. 24+1 (shadow 2 with Henning/Rune and a 9lb recoil spring) start buys me no reloads on a 22 round stage with a few make up shots. If I only had 23 I'm planning a reload. The last indoor match I shot had 2 out of 4 stages that were 22 round stages. I'd guess more than 50% of people planned a reload that shot carry optics. On average that probably put me up 3 seconds?
  15. The vibrating foam roller is even better.
  16. Colorado state match and New Mexico below. I imagine more people will switch after these matches.
  17. Agreed, indoor matches I try and avoid Open shooters and depending on my goals I'll try and jump in with the super squad or if my wife, someone new, etc. is shooting with me the more beginner group where I can help RO.
  18. Thanks, put an order in yesterday!
  19. Has anyone found a way to reduce the trigger pre travel?
  20. Amen. Only thing keeping me from LO next year is if they introduce major PF. Then I'll stick to Carry Optics.
  21. Is anyone aware of a store, etc that does pistol storage for a couple weeks for people who travel to Canada?
  22. Damn… $65/1k for CCI 500’s here and diesel is $3.37/gal
