Finally read the FAQs

Finally read the FAQs (3/11)

  1. I've tried the Carnivore holster previously, and if I remember correctly, there was some movement/rocking when locked at least on my G17. Am I remembering correctly?
  2. What would you recommend instead for a Kydex of similar quality? For an Atlas Athena if that makes any difference.
  3. Any of the kydex holsters with retention will work..they all, at least should, accomplish the same goal. Hold the gun in the holster in a safe manner and allow for a relatively quick draw. Even a T-Rex Arms holster will do that, but GX Holster has a different feel to it and locking mechanism that can be achieved by adding a clamp.
  4. With most things rising in price, are they still worth it? I suppose thats a subjective question...and I suppose I am also looking for validation after I placed my deposit for my first Athena haha.
  5. Just placed an order for my first Athena, thanks for asking this question.
  6. I'll each others on Kore belts. Solid belt. It's interesting to hear others experience with a more flexible belt though
  7. Interesting, I've been running (maybe 300 rounds) the 13# with Timney and 4.5# striker spring no issues so far. But I do have a Zev slide, maybe the "lighter" slight made a difference? Or just Glock tolerances
  8. Have same holster, works great with my G17/SRO. I don't see in any way that it would be in the way of the BROS.
  9. Ended up returning the Carver due to it sticking pass the butt of the frame too far. bought a Taylor freelance Seattle snail that added a bit more weight and was flush.
  10. Con concur, the Combat Evolution + the Vex shoe makes a really nice trigger
  11. Copy. So what do you play on television then?
  12. Mind if I ask why? So far, haven't had any issues with the 4.5. But I'd rather avoid any potential problems if you suggest otherwise
  13. If I recall correctly, stock is 5.5lbs. I run a 4.5 in my gen 3 with a Timney.
