Brother, you are a life saver and I am a dummy! I was having the same issue, no primer strike at all. I could look in the slot for the bolt catch, and see that the hammer was not making contact. Much to my chagrin, I had disassembled and reassembled the gun several times to try to troubleshoot the problem and every time, I reassembled the gas system incorrectly, putting the plastic shuttle with the prongs on first, then the spring and then the sleeve. After I saw your post and reassembled the gas system correctly, no more issues! The 930 goes boom!
