Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Sounds like a ringing endorsement for going back to oil.
  2. Was looking for something that stayed around a little longer. It had good reviews and claimed to not hold particles like other greases. So far that's proving not to be the case.
  3. Switched from using Slip 2000 EWL to TW25B grease in my P320 Legion. It's been running great for USPSA, but yesterday I competed in a run-and-gun, and after getting wet and sandy, the gun completely seized. I couldn't get the gun to cycle on its own at all. When I got home I barely got the take down lever to move, and it took a good bit of force to remove the slide. Am I doing something wrong with this grease (that claims not to attract dirt), or do I just need to go back to Slip?

  5. Used my P320 legion for a 7k biathlon that involved total water immersion. I noticed that within a few hours (just long enough to pack everything up, grab dinner, and drive home) a considerable amount of light surface rust built up. A thorough cleaning was sufficient to remove it, but the magazines are a different story. I'm having trouble removing the rust on the inside of the mags, and the springs (disassembled obviously). A very fine steel wool works on the parts I can reach, but I'm struggling with the small areas. Any tips for removing rust, and/or preventing it in the first place? Many of my other firearms have endured worse, and so long as they were cleaned before storage, they were fine.
