  1. Being young and coming from video games, I feel that I see targets fast and can call my hits pretty good. However, being newer to shooting, I feel that the gun is much slower than how I'd like it to be and when I try to push it, my gun transitions way further than the target, and I need to switch directions which takes up a lot of time. What should be my mentality in training this, as I think it's the opposite problem that people have in transitioning?
  2. any thoughts on venting the fumes from any of the said solvents? I live in an apartment and I'd rather not have any of my neighbors act up if they see me on the balcony.
  3. I like using isopropyl alcohol and acetone to clean stuff as they're pretty general purpose, but I know sometimes acetone is way too harsh for some materials and such. What parts should I avoid having contact with acetone, and are there any solvents I should generally avoid?
  4. im gonna flip and catch the round in my hat like a hibachi chef
  5. I'm tired of the poor cheekweld on the sig folding collapsible stock, so I want something that is more comfortable and looks cool. Anyone have experiences with the Occam Defense Hex 2 Stock or the Midwest Industries Extruded folding stock? Or should I be basic and stick with a buffer tube adapter? Mostly concerned with looking cool to be honest, with cheekweld and shouldering comfort being second.
  6. Is there any reason on TaylorFreelance's cz75 +5 basepad say that their basepad will increase the mecgar 19 rounder to over 141mm? Maybe a formatting error/typo?
  7. Are the MecGar 19 round mags with the extended base plate the same main body as the 17 round mag? Or would I have to file or buy something else to make the existing extensions fit the gauge?
  8. Anyone try 9major through this thing?
  9. For now its just to get my feet wet reloading 9mm and hoping to save a bit in the process, as I want to eventually get into the open game. I'm not sure how much I would really need for training and local meets, but I want to make just enough rounds as I go to events and stuff. Right now I'm finding basic range 9mm for about .45 cents per round locally.
  10. Would small kits like the Lee Loader reloading kits work out fine or would it a better idea to just spring for a larger press like the ones mentioned above? I am a complete beginner to reloading.
  11. Any ideas/equipment for starting to reload in a compact space with neighbors? I will likely be living in an apartment for the foreseeable future and there is a nonzero chance of having to move in the next year.
  12. Hi yall, been lurking here for a while now and just started USPSA in my final semester of uni and finally made an account here. hope to continue contributing useful thoughts and pointers in the coming years!
