A good cheap source for 69 gr SMK's?

Recommended Posts

The prices I am seeing for 1,000 69 gr SMK's is in the 180 to 200 dollar range. :surprise:

Is there some place cheaper?

Is there a cheaper alternative to the 69 gr SMK's?

I wish Montana Gold made a cheap but heavier bullet for the .223. And just a .308 bullet that was inexpensive too.

I get mine from the local Gander Mountains when there on sale. Then you throw down the rewards coupons they send you for useing the Gander Card. They also will met or bet a cheaper advertized prices. Sometimes the local gunshop gets them cheaper but not lately.

Midway has Nosler 155gr 308s in their Custom Competition line on sale this month.

"Nosler Custom Competition Bullets 30 Caliber (308 Diameter) 155 Grain Hollow Point Boat Tail Box of 1000

Product #: 517702" - $152.84

Also, several of the 223s in 69, 77 and 80 grain sizes are on sale ... not great deals but, these days .... what can you do?

You can get the other listings by searching on "Custom Competition" from the link.
