Guest
Not my absolute favorite but recently saw the 1972 movie -Jeremiah Johnson- and had forgotten what a great movie it is. To me the theme is still relevant and it has aged well. Endless Summer is probably one of my top 5 all time favorites. Blade Runner is right up there, too! Phil Dunlop
I can't believe I haven't contributed to this thread, I've looked at it a few times! Loads of movies I love so far listed, but if there could only be one, for me thats easy, one I've watched a hundred times, loved and hated the effect on my emotions, 'Quadrophenia'. Definately not the best movie, but the one I connect with most P.D.
Blueridge
Hard to pick just one, but "Ghost Dog: Way of the Samurai" (Starring Forrest Whitaker) would have to be near the top for me. Edited June 5, 2013 by Blueridge

jaffo
For me it's Top Gun, but it's more about when/where I saw the movie than the actual movie. I saw it on the Navy base in Yokosuka Japan in '86. I was 17 yo and a fresh from bootcamp SR. The excitement in a theater was electric as we all felt like we were in the movie. That night, that movie BELONGED to us. benos
Poolhall Junkies looks interesting - thanks - I just added it to Netflix streaming. And with Rod Steiger and Chazz Palminteri - it will be tough to go wrong.
