A while ago I tried some 38 Super for the .356 size "advantage" as it seemed to be somewhat more accurate in my CZs. Just a thought for you - when I have different loads for different guns, I use different bullets to make it easier to keep them straight , e.g. my 9mm Minor gun uses 147 gr bullets, and my 9mm Major gun uses 124 gr bullets. LowBoost Posted April 13, 2018 Author Share Posted April 13, 2018 Thanks Jack! I was trying to standardize and keep a single bullet, but your suggestion makes sense. Assuming the MPX likes 9mm better, I would then keep the 38 Super for my CZs with brand new Starline brass and 9mm with fired brass (mixed headstamps) to blast through the MPX. I was going to sell all of my mixed brass and get Starline for more consistent OALs, but for blasting at the range it should suffice. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
himurax13 Posted April 15, 2018 Share Posted April 15, 2018 They are basically the same bullets, only difference is OD. I prefer .355 for FMJ and .356 or .357 for nearly everything else.
