SCinTX
My 30 year old Leatherman broke a tool, and I need a replacement. I'd prefer one that I can throw in the bag and handle a lot of the common things we deal with at the range. Any suggestions? What's served you well? Thanks. cs62
I have 3, a 20 year old Leatherman (looks like I can get another 10 out of it given your experience), a small DAA hex key set and a screwdriver with different bits in the handle (4 if you include a paper clip for the guide rod/spring). Haven't seen anything yet that these couldn't handle.
BangSwitch
I got an Avid pistol tool as a stocking-stuffer in December and I am thoroughly impressed with it. It has a 1911 bushing wrench, punch, and all of the "tool tips" you could want to detail strip your 2011. The best part is that they retail for about $40 Here's a link https://www.realavid.com/shop/the-pistol-tool Edited April 5, 2018 by BangSwitch
SCinTX
Thanks very much! I saw the Avid, and wondered about the quality. Good to hear you like it.
