KWRI
I am new to competitive shooting. I started with a Glock 19, and one problem I had was occasionally pulling off a second shot unintentionally. After some practice I was able to alleviate the problem with the Glock. Recently bought a CZ shadow 2 and still getting used to it. I have the same problem with the CZ as I had with the Glock and I am pulling off a second round sometimes. Any suggestions for practice would be appreciated. StuckinMS
Do not ride the trigger. Lots of dry fire, lots of dry fire, get used to the feel of your triggers take up. Watch Rob Leatham and JJ Racarza you tube videos about trigger manipulation. That's if you tube hasn't removed them. They recently black listed Mike Seeklander videos. Hi-Power Jack
Just get more rounds down range ... it will all work out. Bet you haven't fired too many rounds, in total ????
xtian999
I have done it. It is the double action then to single action that gets me. I do not do it with my 1911.
g mac
Maybe you are prepping your trigger (like on a 2-stage trigger system)?.....and yup, dry fire, and learn how your trigger behaves and trigger control. As you may already know, the lighter the trigger, the more sensitive it is.
IHAVEGAS
I do not like a trigger with near zero pre-travel, I do not have a lot on my guns but I do need a smidge. Other thing is getting used to the gun as noted by others.
