Sprig
I have a couple 1050's and one with a mr bullet feeder. While the Dillon cover works perfectly on the press without the bullet feeder , the press with it made the cover to tight. The zipper was so tight when closed it on the press with the bullet feeder it broke . Dillon's directions said to put the zipper on the side with the bullet feeder but was still to tight. My question is, what is everyone using for a cover with a bullet feeder and / or do you know anyplace that offer a custom made cover that fits better with a bullet feeder ? I see Dillon is out of stock on their cover, maybe it's being redesigned to fit with the bullet feeder better ? TIA
RickT
A 20-30 gallon garbage bag would work fine.
Sprig
That's what's on it now, while function is fine, it's ugly

DWS
I would suggest contacting Don at Reloading Covers. I have had Don make covers for my 550, Redding Turret, powder measure, etc. Don does nice work, fair price and fast shipping. https://www.etsy.com/shop/ReloaderCovers

Sprig
Thank you DWS, exactly what i was hoping for. I found jumbo body pillow cases but even those seem to be to small in diameter and my wife does not sew
78Staff
I still use the Dillon 1050 cover with my MBF, but have the MBF mounted on a separate pole, not the casefeeder. I just don't zip up the back, just use two chip clips.

I use the Dillon cover and just leave it unzipped and open in the back as well.I know Mk7 makes a larger cover (and I can't believe I'm getting ready to type this), but I've been to cheap to pick one up... :-)MSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
TerryA
I use a sleeping bag to cover my press. It’s easy to put on and take off and has plenty of room for the bullet feeder and handle.
MemphisMechanic
Nothing. Moved the press from the garage into a compact closet, I leave the 1050 full of components at all times, and try to pull the handle just 20 times a day... It never gets dusty, and I always have ammo in the bin for the next range session.
dansedgli
Thats what i want to do. Open a locked cupboard and press run. Maybe if the bench was on wheels you could wheel it out for maintenance. Not sure it would be sturdy enough though.
