Mcfoto
I use Freedom Munitions, Blazer Brass, and Winchester white box. Find the Winchester most accurate but also most expensive of the three. For FM, I order the new-cased regular round point in 124 gr. In 9.Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

My experience is that each gun will have its own preference - you might have to try a few (order 100 of each?) and give them a try. See which is better in your gun, for you personally

Whittle down your results then pick one. Edited March 1, 2018 by wrench459
AzShooter
I've always had good luck with Winchester White Box. It's cheap but is reliable and accurate out of my guns.

mwray
I’ve always loaded all my own ammo but after seeing the prices from Bite the Bullet ammo company I may stop loading 9mm
Beef15
Shoot with a handful of folks using T1 ammo, they seem pleased. Shot with a guy using Minuteman Munitions last weekend, seemed plenty accurate, saw no malfunctions, for the price I am tempted.
Ozy
Heard great things about T1 ammo... need to look further into their offerings.
Hi-Power Jack
I don't know how many rounds you shoot/year, but if you're shooting 3-5,000 rounds/year, you can load all your own 9mm in 2 hours/month (1/2 hour per week) on a SDB - cost you total of $430 and all you'll need after that is a scale, calipers and chrono (another $250). So, for $700 (the cost of 3,500 cartridges) you can have a lifetime of reloading equipment and then you just need 1/2 hour per week to reload. Superkaratemonkeyfighter
Freedom 135 is very accurate out of my shadow. There 147 is nice also and a little less recoil. I Always have freedom on hand if I run low on handloads. Edited March 7, 2018 by Superkaratemonkeyfighter

Ozy
Thank you for your suggestions.... so far the Winchester 147 flat nose is remarkably accurate....the Atlanta arms less so...ymmv.

Just curious: what is the mental barricade, exactly? After being able to roll my own designer stuff for so long, shooting factory ammo feels very unsatisfying. Like years spent in hand-tailored clothes, then buying something off the shelves at WalMart. Edited March 13, 2018 by MemphisMechanic
