I use Freedom Munitions, Blazer Brass, and Winchester white box. Find the Winchester most accurate but also most expensive of the three. For FM, I order the new-cased regular round point in 124 gr. In 9.

My experience is that each gun will have its own preference - you might have to

try a few (order 100 of each?) and give them a try.

See which is better in your gun, for you personally    :)

Try to match factory ammo first.

Then test a bunch with a chrono.

Whittle down your results then pick one.

Shoot with a handful of folks using T1 ammo, they seem pleased.

Shot with a guy using Minuteman Munitions last weekend, seemed plenty accurate, saw no malfunctions, for the price I am tempted.

I don't know how many rounds you shoot/year, but if you're shooting

3-5,000 rounds/year, you can load all your own 9mm in 2 hours/month

(1/2 hour per week) on a SDB - cost you total of $430 and all you'll

need after that is a scale, calipers and chrono (another $250).

So, for $700 (the cost of 3,500 cartridges) you can have a lifetime

of reloading equipment and then you just need 1/2 hour per week

to reload.    :)

And a tumbler, and a media separator, and a case gauge, and an impact bullet puller, primer flip tray, a suitable bench, and probably a handful of other things we take for granted.

:)

Jack ,while i get the economics of your eloquent argument, i still don't see myself doing this ... it's my own  mental barricade......

Just curious: what is the mental barricade, exactly?

After being able to roll my own designer stuff for so long, shooting factory ammo feels very unsatisfying.

Like years spent in hand-tailored clothes, then buying something off the shelves at WalMart.
