mstamper Posted February 27, 2018 Share Posted February 27, 2018 YEAH that happened to me. Buzzer went off, threw the pcc to my shoulder. Usually while moving the pcc up there I flip off the safety. This time I only flicked it half way. Brain froze, could not figure out why NO BANG. racked the slide thinking it was a bad primer, still no bang. HMMMM, maybe the mag did not seat fully. pulled the mag, slammed it home, racked the slide again, still no bang. BY now the RO is getting ready to stop me, then I hear from him. SAFETY! I look down and DUH the safety is half way. I flipped it into fire, and away I went. OF course by then 20 some odd seconds had ticked off. Learned a valuable lesson. make sure the safety will not move any more to make sure it is in fire mode. BIG DUMMY Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Loudgp Posted February 27, 2018 Share Posted February 27, 2018 I have a hard time with the safety shooting unsupported, I find myself hitting it on after a round is fired. sucked at a major match. gun wouldn't go bang after first shot... was like uhhhhduhhh and noticed what happened...
