touji
Hi all! In everyone's experience, has anyone had the same gun with the same red dot milled at different heights? Has this been an issue using it as a backup? I've got a SP-01 Shadow milled for a Deltapoint Pro and I'm looking to get a backup. I'm wondering if it will be a huge issue to have different height milling for the red dot when it comes to transitioning from gun to gun. Opinions? Larry White
How much difference are you asking about? A quarter inch might a issue, .020 0r .030 I doubt you would ever notice.------------------Larry
touji
The Shadows seem to be milled about a mm or 2 deeper into the slide than the regular SP-01. Like an idiot, it didn't even cross my mind to try with a timer. Personally, after setting some par times, I'm noticing maybe a hair slower with the SP-01 with a Vortex Venom mounted on it. My conclusion is that I should stop splitting hairs and just keep shooting
Larry White
That sounds like a plan.---------------Larry
HoMiE
The differnce is negligible, don’t sweat it.
