nevadabob
Tried the search feature for this powder but nothing came up. Going back a couple of years there were a number of posts on it. Just curious as to how people are doing with it re general plinking.
Brewski
I use it for minor power game loads - works like a champ. 3.2-3.3 grains with 147 coated bullets, 1.145 col does it for me. Clean, consistent and economical.
nevadabob
Thanks for the reply Brewski...I run 3.5 grains using conical or lrn coated 124's with a COL @ 1.120. I like Eggleston and Ibejiheads bullets. For plain lead I like Darda's. I like the 0.357 diameter.
CookieTheSwede
I have been using 3.2 with SnS 135gn bullets with good results.

BillGarlandJr
I'm fairly new to using E3, but I'm a huge fan. Currently using 3.4gr under a The Blue Bullets 135gr projectile for a pf of about 133.
vnboileau
Does it meter pretty well for everyone? I tried it in my Lee press and it just wouldn't meter at all. I'd get drops like 3.8, 3.7, 3.8, 1.9, 3.9, 2.5.... I just got a Dillon 550 and I might try it again though
SCTaylor
stays pretty dead on in my Dillon 650 hopper. It spills a little but that may be me more than the powder measure.
nevadabob
vnboileau...Sorry I'm late to my own party! I use the Lee auto disk setup and I attach a small Walmart cheapo aquarium pump via rubber bands to the powder hopper/tower. The vibration from the pump allows the e3 to dispense evenly. rowdyb
if you feel you need a vibe on your hopper an even cheaper solution i've used is a cheap electric toothbrush taped to the hopper. easy on and off. long batter life. in my 10 year old dillon 1050 it meters great. 3.10 for a 147 plated out of various CZ's
GregJ
For Minor in my CZ/CO and my SS, I run 3.8gr with Zero 124gr RN @ 1.100. Dont recall exact PF, but around 135. I finally finished my 8# jug, which I started using first of last year. I meters ok in my fairly new 1050. One good thing about it, if you miss a primer, you wont have powder spilling out under the shell plate cause the flakes are too big to go through the flash hole. vnboileau
I loaded some on my new Dillon 550 and it was more consistent, but I don't think it's a keeper for me
