Dutycalls75
So their seems to be quite a few new aftermarket glock frames at SHOT. These could be great options for 3 gun and limited: http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2018/01/jeremy-s/zrodelta-releases-worlds-first-fully-modular-pistol-genesis-z9-video/ http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2018/01/jeremy-s/alpha-foxtrot-releases-two-glock-compatible-aluminum-frames/
Garmil
Interesting. There have been a couple metal Glock frames over the years that never caught on maybe these will.
Jager1147
CCF Raceframes rebranded? I still have the buffered recoil assemblies I developed for them to stop the rails from cracking.....
dogtired
The market is ripe for the "build a bear" handgun. I would buy one if they are not junk.
JacobThomas
Somebody buy one and give us a review.
mreed911
Can't wait until these show up in Open... courtesy of shooters who thought they were shooting Production.
JLB-US
Saw DSA was making a titanium slide for Glocks. Waiting for someone to run off 2,000 tungsten framed/Titanium slide Glock 34’s to rule Production

There is a company that announced a All steel glock frame but it’s like $2,500, so that’s a no for me. The Gun Collective has a video on the Genesis and that’s gunna be like $1,250. The only one that looks viable from my standpoint is the Alpha Foxtrott frame that is part steel and part aluminum.

I have a CCF running 9mm, but I needed to use a 22# spring on a polymer guide rod to get it to work. Wasn't too happy with the results.
Rjracing
This is pretty cool! How do they get away with this though? Glock stamps its serial number into the frame plate and I would think changing this out (along with the barrel and slide) would turn this into a "ghost gun". Garmil
Or you don't start with a Glock frame, but yes you have to go through the process just like any other pistol..
ClangClang
Glocks have basically become like ARs - they are Legos where parts can (more or less) be swapped out interchangeably and it doesn't really matter who manufactured it.

Yup, or like Browning 1911's too lol. Ive been told that Glock had a design patent that expired in the few years that kept many companies from making stuff like this or copying their trigger design... but look how many copycats and design improvements have popped up recently. A heavier and more rigid frame may make this platform a true contender in limited and open classes, very exciting!
Sc0
Tighten up the rail fit and remove the flex from the trigger...
