jkrispies
Hi all! I’m going to start shooting my bolt action more, just for relaxation and to learn how to read wind, etc. I prefer shooting off a bag more than a bipod. I bought a Caldwell sand bag years ago, but after zeroing in one too many comp’d AR’s, it leaks like a seive. Can somebody recommend a good bag that hopefully doesn’t cost too much (because it’s a bag, after all), or have a manly Pinterest tip on how to make a good one? I have access to plenty of sand. Thanks, J Edited January 10, 2018 by jkrispies
Jmoreno88
I use empty sand bags from the lawn and garden nursery store and then fill it with fine sand that's just a little damp. Worked just fine for me. Think it cost me less than 5 bucks Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

rubern
Get a plain old sandbag and fill it with dry beans. Beans are lighter than sand and not abrasive.
