Jay63
Enos Brain Trust, A couple of years ago I shot non-steel plate racks at an indoor range. Our club has an issue with a shooter showing up practicing with steel targets. Any leads on non-steel plate racks or dueling trees would be appreciated. At the time the plate was a self healing material and would last about 500 rounds. Thanks in Advance Jay

GrumpyOne
We stsrted making our own targets. Since I live in Florida, there are quite a few airboat places around. Tbey use a material called UHMW plastic onnthe bottom of the airboats as skid plates. Every once in a while, they need to replace the skid plate, so they pull it off and put a new one on. They give us the old material. It is pretty durable, and can be machined. We generally just make knock down plates with it.
3guns
I use Newbold targets and they work good enough.
