Look at the gear - tell them you're a newbie, and they'll be remarkably accommodating. I’ve read 3 gun’s book and have pretty much all the gear I need from previous shooting but it should be a good time was just wondering how other people went about it. Everyone except 1 idiot were very kind & helpful. Also I had never shot my 16 inch iron sighted ar over 100yds offhand before my first match! Lol. It was an experience for sure. Then go shoot the match and focus on being safe.
